Allison 'Ali' Adler is a former writer and co-executive producer on the television show Glee. She joined the writing staff in 2011 for Season 3 along with five other writers.

Biography

Career

She joined the writing staff of Glee along with five other writers after the second season. The other five writers are Marti Noxon, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Michael Hitchcock, Matthew Hodgson and Ross Maxwell. She left after the end of the third season to focus on her work on Ryan Murphy's new NBC series The New Normal, although The New Normal was cancelled after one season. She also was an executive producer in many other shows.

Allison is openly gay and was in a relationship with Sara Gilbert from 2002—2011.
She and Sara had two kids together, Levi and Sawyer. Allison was the birth mother of Levi and Sara was the birth mother of Sawyer.
