It is played while Finn , who is acting upon his remaining feelings, and Rachel are walking through the streets together at night after their date. When Finn says that they would need some background music, the other four come into view and start singing "Bella Notte." However, when Finn leans in to kiss Rachel, she rejects him, leaving him confused and disappointed.
