"Bella Notte" from Lady and the Tramp is featured in New York, the twenty-second and final episode of Season Two. It is sung by Artie, Mike, Puck, and Sam, with Puck playing the accordion.

It is played while Finn, who is acting upon his remaining feelings, and Rachel are walking through the streets together at night after their date. When Finn says that they would need some background music, the other four come into view and start singing "Bella Notte." However, when Finn leans in to kiss Rachel, she rejects him, leaving him confused and disappointed.

Lyrics

Puck:
Oh this is the night
It's a beautiful night
And we call it Bella Notte

Artie:
Look at the skies
They have stars in their eyes
On this lovely Bella Notte

Sam:
Side by side
With your loved one
You'll find enchantment here

Artie:
The night will weave its magic spell

Sam:
When the one you love is near
Ooh

Artie and Puck:
This is the night and the heavens are right
On this lovely Bella Notte

Artie with Mike, Puck and Sam:
This is the night, it's a beautiful night
And they call it Bella Notte

Look at the skies
They have stars in their eyes
On this lovely Bella Notte

Side by side with your loved one
You'll find enchantment here
The night will weave its magic spell
When the one you love is near

Oh this is the night and the heavens are right
On this lovely Bella Notte
