Dante Di Loreto is an American writer and producer, best known for being the executive producer of the 20th Century Fox series Glee.

Personal life

Di Loreto graduated from the University of California in Santa Barbara. He also holds an M.F.A. from the American Film Institute. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California.


Prior to joining Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy to create Glee, he produced several shows for cable and broadcast television as well as a selection of films. His production credits include Pretty/Handsome, My Lousiana Sky, Temple Grandin and Die, and Mommie, Die!, which was awarded the Sundance Film Festival’s Special Jury Prize.

Di Loreto currently serves as President of Production for Ryan Murphy Television, in addition to executive producing Glee. Prior to joining Ryan Murphy, Di Loreto supervised film development for Bill Kenwright Ltd.
