Every Rose Has Its Thorn by Poison is featured in Audition, the first episode of Season Two. It is sung in the shower by Sam.
Finn is the first to discover Sam's voice as he hears him singing in the shower, and following this he attempts to recruit Sam for Glee Club. It was not released as a single.
This is Sam's first solo in the series.

Trivia
- This is the second time that someone is shown singing in the shower, both in the boy's locker room. The first one was sung by Finn in Pilot, singing Can't Fight This Feeling. The third one was in The New Rachel by a new character, Brody Weston, singing Sister Christian.
