Bill A. Jones, born 1959, is an actor, singer, and voiceover artist who plays Rod Remington on FOX's hit TV show, Glee since the first season.
Early life[]
Jones was born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1959.
Career[]
In addition to recurring as newscaster Rod Remington on Glee, Jones has been on such TV shows as The King Of Queens, Las Vegas, Just Shoot Me, and Drew Carey. On film, Jones co-starred with Al Pacino in Simone, and starred in the acclaimed short, The Morning Guy. Additionally, Jones has been seen in national commercial campaigns for Crest Toothpaste, Nissan, American Airlines & others.
As a singer, credits include touring with The Glenn Miller Orchestra. Jones regularly works with 17 piece Big Bands throughout Southern California, and gives audiences a fresh interpretation of the great Standards, originally made famous by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and others.
As a voice-over performer, he was the ‘voice’ of The Fox Movie Channel, and of American Airlines’ in-flight audio program “Timeless Tracks”, in addition to countless commercials, movie trailers and industrials.
As a broadcaster, Jones has been heard as an air personality on radio stations nationwide, via satellite, and was a D.J. in the L.A. market on K-Lite FM, KMPC, and KGIL.
