Critical reception[]
The album was given mixed reviews from most critics. According to About.com, Bill Laim reviewed the album positively and called it "one of the best Glee collections." However, he thought that some of the covers were "an effort to draw attention with a current pop hit," and gave plaudits to the other covers.
