Gregg Lee Henry, born May 6, 1952, is a 64-year-old American actor. He is known for his roles in The Hunt for the BTK Killer, Body Double and Payback.

On Glee, he guest-starred as Russel Fabray.

Personal Life

Henry was born in Lakewood, Colorado.[1] He attended University of Washington in Seattle, and is married to the American theatre director Lisa James.[1] They reside in Los Angeles, California.[2]

Career

Henry made his debut in the television mini-series, Rich Man, Poor Man - Book II, in 1976. He appeared in Scarface in 1983, Body Double in 1984, Payback in 1999, The Hunt for the BTK Killer in 2005, and many others. Henry was announced to have been casted in Guardians of the Galaxy in August 2013, he wrapped his filming on September 4.[3]

He had recurring roles on Gilmore Girls for two years till 2007, on Hung for four years till 2011, on Scandal since 2012, and on Murder, She Wrote for six years between 1985 and 1996, and Matlock for three years between 1987 and 1995. Henry was also on The Riches till its cancellation in 2008, on Eyes for two years till 2007, on 24 in 2003, on Family Law for two years till 2001, and many others.

Henry was in the Broadway productions, "The Joy Going of Somewhere" in 1997,[4] "The Water Children" in 1998,[5] "Mad Forrest",[6] and "The Education of Randy Newman" in 2000.[7] He was frequently appeared in the Broadway play, "Little Egypt – A Musical", in 2006, which also wrote music and lyrics.[1]

Henry has three albums, "Gregg Lee Henry", "Gregg Lee Henry II" in 2003, and "You the One."

He has thirteen Drama Logue Awards, an L.A. Weekly Award, and an Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for his stage work.
