Happy Days Are Here Again/Get Happy by Barbra Streisand/Judy Garland is a mash-up featured in Duets, the fourth episode of Season Two. It is sung by Kurt and Rachel.
Rachel notices that Kurt has been feeling lonely and offers to sing the duet with him "for fun" claiming that they are more alike than they had originally thought. They wear outfits in the same style that Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand wore. This is the last scene and song of this episode.
It is a counterpoint duet of Judy Garland's Get Happy from the film Summer Stock and Barbra Streisand's version of Happy Days Are Here Again. Barbra Streisand re-recorded the song Happy Days Are Here Again in January 1963 for her solo album debut The Barbra Streisand Album. Streisand sang this song on The Judy Garland Show with Garland's counter-melody of Get Happy. (Garland suggested the arrangement to her band leader Mel Tormé.) This live performance was included on the 2002 Streisand compilation album Duets.
Chris and Lea performed this at the Glee Live! Concert.
