Lyrics
Tina:
Oh I beg you,
Can I follow?
Oh I ask you,
Why not always
Be the ocean where I unravel?
Be my only, be the water where I'm wading
You're my river running high, run deep run wild
I, I follow,
I follow you deep sea baby
I follow you I, I follow,
I follow you, dark doom honey
I follow you
He a message,
I'm the runner,
He the rebel,
I'm the daughter waiting for you
You're my river running high, running deep run wild
I, I follow,
I follow you deep sea baby I follow you I, I follow,
I follow you, dark doom honey I follow you
Oh, oh, ouoh, oh oh oh, ouoh,
Oh, oh, ouoh, oh oh oh, ouoh,
Oh, oh, ouoh, oh oh oh, ouoh,
Oh, oh, ouoh, oh oh oh, ouoh
You're my river running high, run deep run wild
I, I follow, I follow you deep sea baby,
I follow you
I, I follow,
I follow you, dark doom honey,
I follow you I,
I follow,
I follow you deep sea baby,
I follow you I,
I follow,
I follow you, dark doom honey,
I follow you
Oh, oh, ouoh, oh oh oh, ouoh,
Oh, oh, ouoh, oh oh oh, ouoh,
Oh, oh, ouoh, oh oh oh, ouoh,
Oh, oh, ouoh, oh oh oh, ouoh.
Trivia
- This is the first and only Tina solo in Season Two. (My Funny Valentine was unreleased).
- This is the second Tina solo that didn't end well (and the third that didn't show the whole song) and had Tina crying at the end, the first being My Funny Valentine.
- This was supposed to be a Björk song, but the writers/producers couldn't find her for the rights to the song. Source
- One of the two songs to be ended quickly on the episode due to negative reception. The first being We Need a Little Christmas (A Very Glee Christmas).
