John Lloyd Mills Young, born July 4, 1975, is a 39-year-old American actor and singer. He guest starred as Henri St. Pierre on Glee for an episode.

Personal life

Young was born in Sacramento, California and lived everywhere from Nebraska to upstate New York.[1] He studied theater arts at Brown University and graduated in 1998.[1] Young resides in Los, Angeles, California.[2] Young dated Glee star, Lea Michele, in 2008.[3][4]

Career

Young's run with Jersey Boys, which he portrayed Frankie Valli, concluded in November 2007, which made his Broadway debut.[5] He won a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his portrayal.[5] He returned to Jersey Boys for a brief time in 2012.[6] He has been rumored to portray Frankie Valli in Clint Eastwood's Jersey Boys since July 2013.[7] Young confirmed to have joined the cast on August 28, 2013, though his personal Facebook page.[8] Jersey Boys will be released in theaters on June 20, 2014.[9]

Besides Broadway, Young was the first person asked to guest star on Glee,[2] which he accepted, appeared in Oy Vey! My Son Is Gay!!,[10] and debuted his album, My Turn, in 2012.[6]
