This article is about Look at Me I'm Sandra Dee (Reprise). You may be looking for the version sung by Kitty.

Look at Me I'm Sandra Dee (Reprise) from Grease is featured in Glease, the sixth episode of Season Four. It is sung by Marley.

After Ryder confronts Marley and stops her from throwing up in the ladies' bathroom, he reassures her to let her know how beautiful she is.

In tears, Marley sings this song as Ryder walks out. She looks into the mirror as she sings, upset as she wipes her tears. She then heads out of the bathroom as she goes backstage, looking at Ryder as she walks past some of the crew of Grease and once again, looks back into the mirror, finishing off the song.

Lyrics[]

Marley:
Look at me, there has to be
Something more than what they see
Wholesome and pure
Oh so scared and unsure
A poor man's Sandra Dee

Sandy, you must start anew
Don't you know what you must do?
Hold your head high
Take a deep breath and sigh
Goodbye to Sandra Dee

Trivia[]

  • This song was originally meant to be sung by Rachel Berry in the episode Pilot as referenced in the original script. But, instead of auditioning with this Rachel sang On My Own because Ryan Murphy was so touched by Lea Michele's rendition of On My Own in her real audition for the show.
