Mike O'Malley (born October 31, 1966) is a 46-year-old American actor who portrays Burt Hummel in FOX's musical-comedy TV show, Glee. His character is known a lot due to the fact that he has a gay son, Kurt, and he respects, loves and accepts his son no matter what.

Mike O'Malley, (born October 31, 1966) is an American actor and playwright, who has appeared in numerous films and television series. He had starred in the CBS comedy, 'Yes Dear'. Prior to Yes Dear, he was the host of Nickelodeon's Get The Picture, and later Nickelodeon's GUTS. After those were done he had a short-lived, self-named sitcom on NBC called: The Mike O'Malley Show, in which he co-starred with his sister Kerry O'Malley. He also played the central character on the short-lived The WB television network sitcom: Life With Roger. As of 2010, O'Malley has a recurring role on NBC's Parenthood, and more recently a series regular role on fox's Glee.
