Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is featured in Funeral, the twenty-first episode of Season Two. It is sung by Artie, Finn, Kurt, and Tina with the New Directions as back up.

They sing this song at Jean's funeral as a dedication to her favorite film, Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. Sue is touched by this performance and thanks the Glee Club. During the performance, the New Directions, Will, and Sue is teary-eyed, as they say goodbye to Jean.

Tina (episode version):
Hold your breath
Make a wish
Count to three

Kurt:
Come with me and you'll be
In a world of pure imagination

Finn:
Take a look and you'll see
Into your imagination

Tina:
We'll begin with a spin
Traveling in the world of my creation

Artie:
What we'll see will defy explanation

Tina (with New Directions):
(If you wanna view paradise)
Simply look around and view it

(Anything you want to, do it)
(Want to change the world?)

There's nothing to it

Kurt:
There is no life I know
To compare with pure imagination

Finn:
Living there, you'll be free

Finn and Kurt:
If you truly wish to be

Kurt with New Directions:
If you wanna view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to do it
Want to change the world?

Kurt:
There's nothing to it

Tina:
There is no life I know
To compare with pure imagination

Kurt:
Living there, you'll be free
If you truly

Finn and Kurt:
Wish to be
