Samantha Marie Ware, born September 03, 1991 [1], is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Nabulungi Hatimbi in The Book of Mormon National Production. She had a guest recurring role as the smart and sassy Jane Hayward in the sixth season of Glee.
Personal life[]
Ware was raised in Nebraska and had no acting training prior to her theatre work and had only sung in her church choir.[2]
She did attend college to become a music teacher while minoring in journalism, however she would leave in order to audition for The Lion King.[3]
Career[]
After a year of college, Ware took a trip to Chicago and auditioned for a role in The Lion King and six months after she received the part of Nala. Shortly after she managed to land a role in The Book of Mormon, coming from a semi-religious family Ware wasn't aware of how her family would accept the news but they loved it, for which she received the Helen Hayes award for best supporting actress.[1]She would later go on to originate the dual roles of Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds in the Chicago production of Hamilton.
Ware will make her 54 Below debut in a new connect called My Little Planet on July 25.[4]
