Sarah Jessica Parker is an American actress and producer.

She is best known for her leading role as Carrie Bradshaw on the HBO television series Sex and the City (1998–2004), for which she won four Golden Globe Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and two Emmy Awards. She played the same role in the 2008 feature film based on the show, Sex and the City: The Movie, and in its sequel, Sex and the City 2, which opened on May 26, 2010. Parker has also appeared in many other films.

Sarah Jessica Parker portrays Isabelle Wright in the fourth season of Glee. She made her debut in the episode Makeover.

Early life

Sarah Jessica Parker was born on March,25 1965 in Nelsonville, Ohio to the parents of Stephen Parker and Barbra Forste. Her mother put her into acting and singing classes when she was very young. Parker studied at the American Ballet School and the Professional Children's School as a young girl and participated in shows such as "The Innocents", "The Sound of Music", and "Annie". She attended Dwight Morrow High School and continued to land roles. After graduating she continued to pursue her acting career rather than continuing her education.

Personal life

Sarah is currently married to fellow actor Mathew Broderick and is living in New York with her husband and three children, James, Marion, and Tabitha Broderick. When she is not acting, Sarah Jessica Parker is a member of Hollywood's Women's Political Committee, and is UNICEF's representative for the Performing Arts. She is bestfriends with co-star Kate Hudson who plays Cassandra July in glee.
