What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) by Kelly Clarkson is featured in On My Way, the fourteenth episode of Season Three. It is sung by The Troubletones (as part of the New Directions Girls), with solos from Brittany, Mercedes, and Santana.

It is the second song on the New Directions' Regionals setlist, the first being Fly/I Believe I Can Fly, and the third being Here's to Us. During the performance, Sebastian can be seen giving an appreciative expression towards the group as he applauds and smiles for them.

Trivia[]

This is the first performance of The Troubletones as part of New Directions. In Hold on to Sixteen, Quinn had struck a deal with both Rachel and Will to allow the Troubletones to perform one song per competition in exchange for their return to New Directions.
The original song by Kelly Clarkson was named as "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)." It is unknown why the change in the name was made.
This song debuted and peaked at #66 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. That same week, the original song rose to #1 on the chart, showing the biggest gains in airplay.

Mistakes[]

At 0:42-0:46, Santana's hairband slips down her head, and it looks like she has a ponytail.
During the performance, near 1:24-1:25, Santana is singing the bridge.

At the start, you see Santana's hand moving up, then when it zooms in on her, within less than a second, her hand is down along the rest of her body (19–20 seconds in video).
At 28:45, you can see Mercedes mess up her hand gesture.
