Telly Leung (born January 3, 1980), is an American actor and singer who portrays Wes, a friend of Blaine's and a member of the Dalton Academy Warblers. Telly only portrayed Wes in the second season of Glee. He was born on January 3, 1980 in New York City, NY, USA.[1] He is best known for playing the role of Angel in the 2010 production of Rent at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. Past theatre credits include the closing cast of Rent on Broadway and Wicked in Chicago. He has an EP release titled Getaway. Currently, Telly is in the cast of the Broadway revival of Godspell.
In Glee, the character of Wes is straight, and even has a girlfriend, but Telly is openly gay off the show.
