The Celibacy Club is a club which promotes sexual abstinence at McKinley.
In Pilot, Finn mentioned that Quinn is the president of the Celibacy Club therefore they cannot properly have sexual intercourse. Also when Quinn was president, at the beginning of each meeting, the boys and girls would start off in separate rooms to talk about celibacy, then meet up later on. However, it is likely that this changed when Emma Pillsbury became leader.
In Showmance, Rachel and Jacob Ben Israel join the Celibacy Club. Saying that girls want sex just as much as guys, Rachel storms out of the club leaving everyone questioning that fact. As a result, New Directions does Push It for the school assembly. It is also revealed in this episode that the only reason Finn joined the Celibacy Club was to get closer to Quinn.
In Sexy, Emma was shown as the president of the club, who probably replaced Quinn when she got pregnant. Quinn mentioned that she joined because she wanted to concentrate on herself, while Rachel joined for the same reason and her song writing. Holly and Emma had conflict due to difference of their opinions on celibacy in High School, Will thinks that it would be a good idea for the Celibacy club to sing a song to rival Holly's opinion. Later on in the episode, Puck joined after being told by Holly that making a sex video could cause him to go to jail. The Celibacy Club, including Carl, sang Afternoon Delight in front of the Glee Club to prove their points. However, this ended up backfiring due to Emma's misunderstanding on the meaning of the song. After the performance, Lauren made fun of Puck, who explained thoroughly why he joined the club. Lauren found this appealing and joined the club with him. Brittany, Artie, Santana, and Sam also join the club.
