The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late) by Cast of Alvin and the Chipmunks is featured in Previously Unaired Christmas, the eighth episode of Season Five. It is sung by Cody, Kurt, Rachel, and Santana.
After Cody agrees to have dinner at the Bushwick Apartment to get to know his "elves" better, he arrives and looks around the apartment, seeming interested in it. He pulls out helium, balloons and costumes in his bag as he has an idea to sing a song with the three of them. The song begins as Kurt, Rachel and Santana use balloons and helium to make their voices higher like chipmunks. They sing and dance in their chipmunk voices around Cody to get his approval, acting as his elves. Together, they dance, dress in costumes, do different activities and drink their egg nogs. At the end of the performance, Rachel, Kurt and Santana laugh and sit together, looking drowsy as Cody looks around, satisfied.
Lyrics[]
Cody:
Alright, you chipmunks
Ready to sing your song?
Kurt:
I'll say we are
Santana:
Yeah, let's sing it now
Cody:
Okay, Rachel? (Rachel: Okay)
Okay, Santana? (Santana: Okay)
Okay, Kurt? Kurt? Kurt! (Kurt: Okay)
Kurt, Rachel, and Santana:
Christmas, Christmas time is near
Time for toys and time for cheers
We've been good but we can't last
Hurry, Christmas, hurry fast
Want a plane that loops the loop
(Kurt: Me, I want a hula hoop)
We can hardly stand the wait
Please, Christmas, don't be late
Cody:
Okay, fellas, get ready
That was very good, Rachel (Rachel: Naturally)
Very good, Santana (Santana: Hahahahaha)
Uh, Kurt, you were a little flat, watch it
Kurt? Kurt? Kurt! (Kurt: Okay)
Kurt, Rachel, and Santana:
Want a plane that loops the loop
(Kurt: I still want a hula hoop)
We can hardly stand the wait
Please, Christmas, don't be late
We can hardly stand the wait
Please, Christmas, don't be late
Kurt and Rachel:
Hahahaha
Santana:
That is the best (Kurt: Woo, oh) (Rachel: So much fun)
Kurt:
More helium (Rachel: Hahahaha)
Santana:
Oh my gosh (Kurt: Woo, woo, woo)
Tickle me
