Tongue Tied by GROUPLOVE is featured in Nationals, the twenty-first episode of Season Three. It is sung by the New Directions, with solos from Artie, Finn, Rachel and Santana.
The song is sung when they triumphantly return to McKinley following their win at Nationals. The school welcomes them with open arms, as they have fun celebrating their win.
This song is done in the background as a montage. During the montage, we see New Directions opening champagne, walking through the hallways while confetti is thrown around, a few couples kissing, enemies becoming friends and at the end, and a girl asking Rachel to sign her yearbook.

Trivia
- The fourth time that a song has been featured in the background of a clip rather than showing the singer(s) singing the song. The first time was Don't Make Me Over in Hairography (although just the instrumental), the second was Smile in Mattress and the third was You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch in A Very Glee Christmas.
Errors
- Coach Beiste was walking towards the right side of Emma, but after Will came in she was on his the right side.
- Emma holds the Lima newspaper and it shows a photo on the front of Will stood next to the Nationals trophy. But in one of the next scenes, they're in the choir room which the photo was set. This may be because the scenes were meant to be out of place for effect.
