So aside from Jesse St. Flawless, my favourite characters are:

Couples

My OTP is St. Berry.

They understand each other in ways nobody else could. Jesse's the only guy in the show who bolsters Rachel's Broadway destiny, as opposed to pulling her down. The two have incredible chemistry, and Jesse's underappreciated, not to mention hilarious. And he pisses Finn off! YEAH! St. Berry sounds better in a duet than any other couple in Glee, and always remain equally theatrical. In the same circumstances, Puck or Finn would've just waited until Rachel was done singing 'Rolling in the Deep' and then barged in.

Rachel's her best self when with Jesse. He's the only guy she loved without loving him becoming the entirety of her character. She told him about her dreams, stood up for him despite her friends, and she had an entire storyline unrelated to who she was dating- while dating someone. For Glee, this is rather unusual. Admit it.

Compare the things they talk about.

Finn: Ooh, he's on the football team, Rachel feels unsafe, so Rachel dresses provocatively to make him feel unsafe. Wow, what an emotional drama!

Puck: I'm not really convinced they did anything but make out, actually. They were funny, I'll grant you that, but they make much better friends than BF/GF.

Jesse: Her feelings about sex, her goals in life, her birth mother, show choir... the possibilities are endless.

I could go on like this for far too long, but I won't. Well, I already kinda did, but I'll stop now.
