Okay, um, hello. A Gleek who was born and raised in the Southern part on New Brunswick, Canada, I'm a lover of arts from poetry to singing to painting. and yes, I'm also a devoted moviehead (lover, collector, critic and Oscar predictor). When Glee came into my life, I had doubts that it would fold as quickly as the short lived series Cop Rock (sometime in the early 1990's...I was still in school so I'm not fully sure of the correct year). But I was wrong. and granted, I wasn't never crazy about someone else singing the tunes of the great ones from childhood past, but this was the breath of fresh air (not to mention one of the funniest series to come along and put a smile on my face) to see these young faces living out what I was back in high school: a misfit. Yes, I was one of those shy kids that only lived for her music in the quietness of her bedroom with her headphones and computer as her best friends. As episodes went on, I embraced the motley bunch as my friends and loved ones, I thought it was my duty to pass the love around...and the perfect chance to get revenge on my mother for turning me into a (*gasp*) Grey's Anatomy watcher even if I came close to mailing my Vol.1 set to Edmonton, Alberta so she could play catch up during the winter months...thank goodness she had help from a co-worker and another Gleek. And now, as Glee enters season #2, I'm ready for anything and just for the record, my heart belongs to Will...which hurts a little bit. In fact, one of my profile pics on Facebook is a little something I did to express my love for him...and leaving me at odds with the one actor (who will remain nameless at this time) that I hold in regards professionally and emotionally. Well, be that as it may, to my fellow Gleeks, keep a song on your lips and your dream in your heart. Love and cheer always.
