I have just survived what I thought was impossible. Nine days without Glee, more accuracy nine days without the internet. To keep me sane I wrote a diary of all the encounters I got throughout those days that reminded me of the show. Initially, I only had my iPod and my memory, but it seems I can never escape. Not like I want to. Holiday Destination: Adelaide and Kingscote, Kangaroo Island, South Australia. (I live in Victoria for anyone who knows Australian geography)
Day One- Thursday 12/01/2012- Just realised how cool the date is
Glee Reminders:
· ‘Furt’ playing on inflight entertainment
· Tumblr and Glee Wiki before leaving home
· Golden Globes add, cast was in it
· Facebook and texting over the show
· Quoting and songs stuck in my head
Level: At home…

Is it just me or is there a bit of a ship war happening between Finchel (Finn and Rachel) and Faberry (Quinn and Rachel) at the moment? Finchel fans are preparing themselves for The First Time when Rachel and Finn do the deed, while Faberry shippers are putting evidence together for a kiss in I Kissed A Girl. In Silly Love Songs Quinn asks if it is possible to love two people at once, for her Finn and Sam. I love both these ships, but for once I think Finn is right, you eventually have to choose. So here is the ultimate weigh up between Finchel and Faberry.
Finchel has been around since the beginning, Rachel falling for Finn in Pilot and their first kiss in Showmance. They have been a core couple in the show, though they have only been toge…

Pilot is the very first episode of Glee; some say it is the best episode of the series. The episode isn’t a personal favourite, but it is the corner stone of this show. This doesn’t mean it’s free from mistakes though. Here’s a recap and look back to the beginning of New Directions.
Glee is a show about a glee club, right? So, why does it open on a cheerleader? This Cheerio isn’t even one of the Unholy Trinity; Quinn, Santana or Brittany. Although it is worth noting that Brittany (Heather Morris) wasn’t casted until before Showmance. You Keep Me Hangin' On, which Quinn re-sings in Throwdown, can be heard during this Cheerios number. The first words uttered on this show are “You think this is hard? Try being water boarded, that’s hard!” by th…

Quinn Fabray was my second favourite character on Glee, after Rachel Berry of course, but now I feel like screaming every time she is on the screen. For some reason that is yet to be fully explained she dyed her hair pink, started smoking and all of a sudden wants Beth back. She would even lie to everyone, especially the people who were there for her in her darkest hours, to get what she wants. Quinn has always been a bit of a bully, but even she had her limits. Shoving a kid’s head down a toilet isn’t something I thought the ex-pregnant, Lucy Caboose would even sink down to doing. What have they done with the once charming cheerleader that I used to know? Well, I didn’t know her personally, but you get the idea.
Quinn changes her mind, and …

Welcome to my first blog! I've been wondering what to write about for the last little while, and I've settled on something a little different. You see, I'm Australian, and Glee is a very American show, so this is my take on American culture from this show. If what I write is completely wrong, please let me know, but this is how I see things.
First things first, we don't have 'Glee Clubs' in Australia. I know they aren't that common in America, but still. We stadiums in schools and our own teams that play on a weekly basis. You can still play for the school, but not every week, or with so many people turing up.
One thing that is really hard for me to understand is your school system, it's so weird. We start a new school year in January, a new…
