 Britney: One More Time is the thirteenth episode of Season Three in my fanfic series Glee: The New York Story. It is set to premiere August 3, 2014.

This is the Britney Spears tribute episode

Synposis

After being humiliated in front of her entire dance class because of her jealous and spiteful dance instructor (Carrie Ann Inaba), Brittany decides to quit dancing, but Santana enlists Brody's help to get Brittany to see that dancing is her dream. Kurt and Rachel jump to conclusions when they spot Puck at a jewlery store and believe he's going to propose to Marley. Marley gets an offer of a life time from NYADA, especially after Madame Tibideaux (Whoopi Goldberg) witnesses Marley's talents first hand. 

Plot

In a voiceover, Brittany reflects on her going to Juilliard and how her first dance class is taught by prestigious dancer Amy Chen (Carrie Ann Inaba), who choreographs for Britney Spears. Brittany mentions she's going to dominate Juilliard and will be the top student once she graduates. However, her VoiceOver isn't a VoiceOver when it turns out Brittany was monologuing, and Finn overheard everything.

In Puck's room, he awakens to find Marley showering him with affection, especially since she found out he was enrolling in BMCC. Puck tries to downplay his achievements but Marley mentions for him to be proud of his hard work. As a result, she offers to make him breakfast, and for them to spend the morning in bed afterwards, which Puck doesn't object to. He decides he wants to do something nice for Marley, and begins to plan a romantic evening for her.

Brittany arrives at her dance class and finds her friend--and Finn Harmonic teammate--Brody Weston (Dean Geyer) in the class. Brody reveals he takes summer dance class at Juilliard to prep himself for NYADA during the school year. Amy Chen arrives to teach the students and has them follow simple steps, but Brittany outshines everyone in the class while singing I Wanna Go. Threatened by Brittany's talent, Amy decides to take Brittany down a peg, and belittles her in front of the entire class. Brittany, hurt by Amy's words, storms out of the room, despite Brody trying to console her.

She arrives home at the loft where Rachel and Santana see Brittany is visibly upset, which results in Santana trying to bring her tea to get to the bottom of her sadness. Brittany mentions if she couldn't impress Amy, then she shouldn't even be a dancer. Santana reminds her Brittany was the best dancer in Lima, but Brittany reminds her New York is a different ballgame, and she is suddenly a fish out of water.

Kurt and Rachel spend the afternoon going to museums and Kurt mentions he and Rachel try a restaurant named Papaya Dog. Along the way, they stop at a Zales window and Kurt looks at the wedding rings. Rachel personally offers to buy Blaine and Kurt their wedding rings as a gift and Kurt engulfs Rachel in a hug. His joy is short-lived when he peers inside the Zales window and sees Puck making a purchase, which raises both Kurt and Rachel's suspicions. Puck exits the jewelry store and is surprised to see Kurt and Rachel there, with Kurt and Rachel deciding to make small talk. Kurt notices Puck trying to hide the jewelry bag before he heads on his way, and he worries Puck is in over his head trying to propose to Marley. He asks Rachel for help in trying to get to the bottom of Puck's behavior, and Rachel agrees.

The next morning, Finn brings Marley to NYADA in order to help him set up for the new school year, and Marley marvels at the Finn Harmonic classroom. There, Marley decides to humbly brag and mention that Puck was enrolling in school, which delights Finn. He thanks Marley for being there for Puck, and he's amazed at how they both grew up while in New York over the summer. Marley mentions she feels she's still in between a girl and a woman and decides to sing I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman. After she sings, Puck calls her and asks Marley on a date for that evening, with Marley happily accepting. Finn proceeds to tease Marley over her infatuation with Puck, which Marley rebuffs by teasing Finn about his infatuation with Rachel. The two of them leave the choir room, but Marley is unaware Madame Tibideaux (Whoopi Goldberg) was there and overheard her singing. Madame Tibideaux promptly goes to her office and calls McKinley High School, where both Madame Tibideaux and McKinley make a shocking revelation.

Blaine, Sam, Santana and Tina watch Brittany as she is about to leave the loft, and Santana notices Brittany is in better spirits. Brittany agrees, mainly because she decides she was going to quit dancing. Santana is shocked by Brittany's revelation but doesn't get to discuss it with her when Brittany goes to work. Santana aims to bring back Brittany's self confidence as she worries Brittany might be wasting her talents, especially with a number of Till The World Ends.

Kurt finds Puck cooking in the kitchen, and is surprised when Puck asks him the difference between a lemon and a lime. Kurt wonders what this is for and Puck ends up revealing he is planning a romantic evening for Marley. When Kurt sees the Zales bag on the table, Puck decides to divulge what's in it, revealing to be a ring. Kurt mistakes it as an engagement ring, and despite Puck wanting Kurt not to say a word about it, he immediately blabs to Rachel. Worried that Puck might try to propose to Marley, Kurt and Rachel band together to try to stop Puck from making a mistake.

Santana enters the Juilliard dance studio and witnesses Brody there, the both of them worried about Brittany. Together they plan a way to get Brittany to show Amy that she is one of the top dancers in the school.

Marley returns home to get ready for their date, but Puck surprises her in front of the building, revealing that their date is actually upstairs. He adds he made her dinner, which Marley finds as a romantic gesture. Before dinner, Puck decides to take Marley to a nearby garden, where they talk about the potential idea of Marley going back to Lima. She reveals she would be more comfortable transferring to New York since she feels she can't face Jake for a whole other year. Puck offers to drop everything to be there for Marley if things go sideways, but she insists that he live his life. However, Puck adamantly mentions Marley is a part of his life and he will continue treating her like a priority. Puck had also brought a guitar to the garden and Marley and Puck sing Crazy / U' Drive Me Crazy as Kurt and Rachel spy. The two of them decide to go back to the loft to finish their date, and Kurt and Rachel decide to get Finn involved before Puck can give Marley the ring.

Kurt and Rachel find Finn watching television and inform him that Puck plans to propose to Marley. However, Finn is confused by Kurt and Rachel's intentions before trying to clarify that Puck isn't proposing. Kurt and Rachel fail to listen to him and go to the kitchen where Marley and Puck are eating dinner before telling Marley that Puck planned to propose. With the surprise ruined, a frustrated Puck finally explains the ring isn't an engagement ring, but a promise ring. It is revealed Finn knew about it as he had gotten Puck a rhyming dictionary since Puck wanted to write a poem for Marley as well. A guilty Kurt and Rachel don't have time to reflect on their behavior when Marley gets a phone call from Madame Tibideaux.

At first, Marley is believed Madame Tibideaux is mistaken when she is asked to enroll to NYADA in the fall. However, Marley takes a look at her latest transcript and realizes she has enough credits to graduate due to multiple summer classes prior to her freshman and sophomore year. Marley mentions she'll think it over, but first she wants to finish her date with Puck, which ends with them having sex.

After a heart-to-heart talk with Puck, Marley continues to ponder whether to take the opportunity in front of her. While Finn and Puck encourage her to graduate from McKinley to come to New York, they also inform her it's her decision. Marley decides on her own she's going to graduate from McKinley and enroll in NYADA.

Brittany, Brody and Santana high-jack one of Amy Chen's classes with the intention of Brittany showing her that she is a talented dancer. Brittany and Brody perform Circus, but are surprised after the number that Amy's opinion on Brittany hadn't changed. Brittany realizes she's not going to be able to change Amy's mind about her, and decides to unenroll from Juilliard, as she feels it's not a safe environment for her.

While in their bedroom, Rachel reflects to Finn about her and Kurt's behavior towards Puck, unbelieving that they had ruined Puck's surprise. Finn instructs Rachel to apologize as Puck hadn't done anything wrong in wanting to get Marley jewelry. He also mentions if Puck had wanted to propose, it wouldn't have been the worst thing. Puck comes in the room to ask for a razor but is still clearly bothered by Rachel. That's when Rachel and Kurt decide to apologize, although Kurt infuriates Puck more by walking in on him and Marley trying to have sex.

Kurt and Rachel apologize for that and for trying to protect Marley from him when he didn't need it, believing they were acting only on good faith. Puck realizes how remorseful they are and forgives them. As Marley comes to get Puck back into the bedroom, Kurt finds out from the McKinley calender that there is a graduation scheduled. Rachel immediately figures it's for Marley, who was struggling with whether to graduate.

As Brittany reflects on her failed tenure at Juilliard, Santana comes to comfort her, with Brittany thanking Santana for standing by her when she needed it. Brittany reveals that while Juilliard failed, another school came knocking with a full scholarship for dancing--NYADA. She reveals Juilliard also did an investigation as to why Brittany quit and ultimately fired Amy. Santana still feels they should leave Amy with some parting words, so she, Artie, Finn, Puck and Sam accompany Brittany where Amy is. Puck gets under Amy's skin by claiming he slept with her daughter in High School, but Puck's words are enough to expose Amy for faking a disability to get a disability check. Although exposed, Amy realizes they aren't going to send in the tape--Artie instead pulls out a slushie and gives her a slushie bath, causing Amy to go into hiding. Artie then questions Puck when he slept with Amy Chen's daughter, only to find out Puck lied in order to get under her skin.

To celebrate new beginnings for Brittany, she and Santana go to Callbacks where they perform S&M to end the episode.
