Ok, now I'm really getting into the show. I've just finished season 2 and once again I'm extremely disappointed. I really wanted New Directions to win. I really hope they do eventually. I want them to, I do. I know it's just a show, but I really identify with them for some reason. Well, that aside, here's my thoughts on the season.
This season contained my favorite episode so far of the series, Rumours, which is still (so far) my favorite of any season overall. This is the episode that made me fall in love with Adele. Even though I loathe St. Berry, that collaboration was genius. It was raw and passionate. It also contained my least favorite, Grilled Cheesus
Posters on my last blog, which focused on Grilled Cheesus, told me I was taking the show too seriously. As a spiritual person, I was offended by the episode , and I needed a way to let that out. I realize its a dramedy, but I take my lifestyle (I don't consider Christianity a religion, but a lifestyle and a relationship) very seriously. Does the fact that I was offended mean I'm going to stop watching Glee? No, of course not. Because once again, I'm so happy that we had a Finchel moment at Regionals. Can someone explain to me though, how the kiss made them lose? That made no sense. I didn't feel like it was too much at all. I'm also glad that Will decided not to leave McKinley to join April's show. I feel like April's a train wreck. Maybe that's just me. Also loved the Klaine moments this season. They are such a cute couple!! Although I've already watched ahead to some of the shows in Season 3, I can't wait to see what's in store.
