RECAP[]

So here’s what you missed on The Unitards....

Jesse’s holding the official Unitards’ duet competition, and a new staff member, Amy Sky, will be helping him to judge. The winner will win a mystery prize.
When Sugar Motta auditioned for glee club, everyone thought she was terrible, and she wasn’t accepted into the Unitards initially, and ever since she was allowed to join, everyone still thinks she’s terrible, which kinda isn’t true.
Spider used to live in London, and made his girlfriend pregnant, but then she left him with the child.
Laura was experimenting at being a lesbian a while ago, but nobody knows... or do they?
Rex and Amanda still remain as best friends and Harmony still envies Winter and her talent....

...and that’s what you missed on The Unitards!

STORY[]

The episode begins with Spider as he performed “Yesterday” by The Beatles in the auditorium, all on his lonesome, reflecting how much he wanted to be back with his ex-girlfriend.

The Beatles-Yesterday Lyrics

Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away

Now it looks as though they're here to stay

Oh, I believe in yesterday.”

In walked Laura, watching the performance, Spider not realizing.

“Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be.

There's a shadow hanging over me.

Oh, yesterday came suddenly.

Why she had to go I don't know, she wouldn't say.

I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play.

Now I need a place to hide away.

Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Why she had to go I don't know, she wouldn't say.

I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play.

Now I need a place to hide away.

Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Laura claps, Spider getting a shock.

“Laura, what are you doing here?” asked Spider.

“I’m here to practice our duet,” replied Laura.

“But... I thought you would be late,” he replied.

“Me, late?” she said, “Ha, you wish! By the way, nice singing.”

“Wait, you saw all of that?” asked Spider, worriedly.

“Of course not, I missed like... well.. however much of it I missed doesn’t matter. The point is, we need to practice our duet or we’re going to lose, and trust me, we need to win.”

“Yeah, so... uh, what song were you planning on doing?” asked Spider.

“Oh, you’ll see.”

In the hallways of Jackson High, Sugar was at her locker startled, due to Simon approaching her without warning.

“Please don’t scare me Simon,” said Sugar.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to,” he replied.

“That’s okay. So I’m guessing you’re here because you want to perform our duet in glee cub finally,” she asked.

“Yes, I think we’re finally ready. You’re amazing Sugar, absolutely outstanding.”

“Great,” she replied happily.

“Well, what are you waiting for?” she asked, “Let’s go!”

Simon: I'll wait.”

“Seriously Sugar, just admit that you pre-recorded your voice in a proper studio, used auto tune and now somehow are playing it somewhere through your boobs. Seriously, admit it,” said Laura.

“No, really, that was her singing,” said Simon, defending Sugar.

“Oh, so you’re on her side now,” said Laura.

“Stop guys!” said Jesse firmly. “Sugar has improved. And I know that she’s not pre-recording her voice, I know that for a fact, because earlier on today I heard her singing it under her breath. She’s definitely amazing, and she’s definitely improved. You guys should see the look on all of your faces. Everyone’s so shocked. I think we’ve come to a conclusion then, Sugar deserves to sing more.”

Sugar smiled and hugged Jesse.

______________________________________________________________________________________________

“Sugar’s improved so much,” replied Laura to Spider as they stood in the auditorium, once again lonely.

“Yeah,” replied Spider.

“Okay, please spit it out already Spider; why were you singing that song this morning?” she asked.

“I was just practicing, you know,” he replied.

“No, that’s not why,” replied Laura. “It’s about your ex, right?”

“How did you know?” he asked, dumbfound.

“Oh trust me, I know these things. I’m good at using evidence to make a fine conclusion or hypothesis, whatever that means. My science teacher told me I’m good at doing that anyway, whatever it actually means.”

Spider continuously looked down at the floor, avoiding eye contact with Laura.

“I know that you’re upset about everything she did to you; leaving the child with you and then never talking to you again. But I don’t blame her, if I was her, I would want to get rid of the child too, I’ve seen him, and frankly he’s ugly,” she said blatantly rude.

“I hate her so much. Now I’m stuck with the child, and stuck with the pain of being reminded of her every single time I see my son’s face. He’s got her eyes.”

“Look, I don’t mean to be going against you, well, actually I kind of do, but it’s hard being a girl. And I know how she would have felt.”

“What do you mean?” asked Spider.

“Don’t tell anyone this, but... I’ve had an abortion before.”

Spider fell silent, not knowing how to respond exactly.

“Is this another one of your practical jokes?” he asked.

“No. I’m being serious. It was only last year. I was a sophomore and I was pressured into having sex with that Angelo Jotts guy on the football team. Yes, you’d think that being as big of a bitch as I am, I would have just slapped him on the ass and told him to piss off, but this was serious. I’d already promised that I’d do it, without protection to be precise.”
“Why would you do that?” asked Spider.

“Well, why did you do it?” she asked. “I’d told this guy something really private about myself, something that I couldn’t let anyone know at all, and he said he’d only keep it a secret if I did “it” with him. And you know what “it” is.”

“What was this secret?” asked Spider.

“Didn’t you just hear what I said? Nobody can know.”

“Well, obviously that’s not correct, because you told this guy. And this guy doesn’t even seem the slightest bit nice,” replied Spider.

“I’m sorry, but you can’t know.”

“Okay then. Anyway, wanna practice our duet then?” he asked.

“Sure,” she said. “But first, well, this is actually the reason I came here, I wanted to show you something.”

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

In the courtyard, Laura pulled Spider’s hands and dragged him down so that he sat on one of the steps. She began to sing “Where Have You Been” by Rihanna.

Laura:

Rihanna_-_Where_Have_You_Been_(Audio)

Rihanna - Where Have You Been (Audio)

I've been everywhere, man
Looking for someone
Someone who can please me
Love me all night long

A few cheerios started dancing around Laura as all eyes began to be glued to them.

I've been everywhere, man
Looking for you babe
Looking for you babe
Searching for you babe

Where have you been
Cause I never see you out
Are you hiding from me, yeah?
Somewhere in the crowd”

More cheerios surround Laura and dance around her as they sing back-up “yeahs” for her.

Laura:

Where have you been,
All my life, all my life

Laura with cheerios: Where have you been, all my life
Where have you been, all my life
Where have you been, all my life
Where have you been, all my life”

Laura does a quick-footed, skirt-swinging dance. Throughout the song, she keeps staring at Spider and he feels uncomfortable, not knowing the intentions of the song. He becomes slightly freaked out.
Laura:

I've been everywhere, man
Looking for someone
Someone who can please me
Love me all night long
I've been everywhere, man
Looking for you babe
Looking for you babe
Searching for you babe
Where have you been
Cause I never see you out

Are you hiding from me, yeah?
Laura with cheerios singing “yeahs”:

Somewhere in the crowd

Laura: Where have you been,
All my life, all my life

Laura with cheerios: Where have you been, all my life
Where have you been, all my life
Where have you been, all my life
Where have you been, all my life.”

Laura and the cheerios did another fast dance.
“Cheerios: Where have you been, all my life.”

They continue the dance, whilst singing.

Laura: You can have me all you want
Any way, any day
To show me where you are tonight”

The cheerios continue dancing, then as the music slows, they walk off, some going left, some right, while Laura finishes the song, directing it at Spider.

“I've been everywhere, man
Looking for someone
Someone who can please me
Love me all night long
I've been everywhere, man
Looking for you babe
Looking for you babe
Searching for you babe.”

Laura ran over to Spider and grabbed him by the arm.

“Come on then babe, let’s go and practice our duet,” she said.

All eyes were still glued to her as she lead him through the pathway to the auditorium. The courtyard was now silent.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

“So do you think you’re ready to do it in glee club?” asked Amanda to Rex at his locker.

“Yeah, of course,” he said.

“Are you sure?” she asked.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” he reassured.

“Okay then, because you always get really nervous whenever we do performances in front of your mum,” she said.

“I know, because what if she discovers she’s bisexual?” he said.

“Sh! Anyone could have just heard that,” whispered Amanda, looking around to guard her friend’s secret.

“You really should be more careful,” said Winter, who had overheard. “Don’t worry, I don’t care Rex, I’m actually bisexual too.”

“Wait, what?” asked Rex.

“Rex, don’t be rude!” said Amanda, giving his shoulder a nudge.

“Oh, it’s fine, really,” said Winter.

“Why would you tell us that?” asked Amanda.

“Oh, it’s fine. Harmony’s been really nice to me, she’s helping me realize that it’s alright to be bisexual. I’m being more open about my sexuality. I’m only letting my close friends know though, so please don’t tell anyone,” she pleaded.

“Oh, it’s fine, your secrets perfectly safe with us,” said Amanda.

“Yeah,” said Rex.

“And please don’t tell anyone about Rex being bi either,” said Amanda.

“Oh, trust me, I won’t,” said Winter. “I’m not really like that. I mean, I’ve kept the secret that Laura’s a lesbian ever since Harmony told me yester-”

Winter stopped. She had just realized she had spilt a secret that she shouldn’t have.

“Laura’s a lesbian?” asked Amanda.

“Oh my god, we’ve got to put this online to get her back for always bullying us,” said Rex, his eyes glowing.

“Rex, you -” started Amanda.

“Thanks so much Winter, have a nice day,” said Rex, who had already run off.

“Oh no, what have I done?” murmured Winter under her breath.

“So Harmony told you all this?” asked Amanda.

“Yes, but you didn’t hear that from me,” said Winter.

“We’ve got to do something. We can’t let Rex get away with this. I mean, when Laura secretly overheard Rex talking to me about his sexuality, she never spilt the beans to anyone. Why should Rex do it to her?” said Amanda.

Just when Winter was about to speak, Laura walked by with Spider only inches apart.

Amanda and Winter must have been staring at Laura enough for her to realize.

“What’s up with you?” she asked.

“Nothing,” replied Amanda and Winter in unison, trying to sound convincingly.

Laura rolled her eyes, then continued walking with Spider, walking in the direction that Rex had gone.

“We’ve got to do something. Rex will never agree to stop, we need to do something,” said Amanda, after Laura had walked off enough so that she couldn’t hear.

“What should we do?” asked Winter.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

In the choir room, Rex walked in, Winter and Amanda waiting for him.

“Guys, you won’t believe what I did!” screamed Rex as he took a seat beside the two.

“Rex, please don’t do it,” said Winter.

“Don’t do what?” asked Harmony, who was sitting a row behind the three.

“Nothing,” said Winter.

“Oh, it’s just that Laura -” said Rex, until Amanda was covering his mouth.

Laura’s head immediately turned towards Rex, Amanda, Winter and Harmony.

“Somebody say my name?” asked Laura.

“Yeah, Rex did,” said Harmony.

“Alright guys,” said Jesse as he walked into the choir room.

“Seriously, what is going on?” asked Laura, eyeing off the four.

“...so, who wants to perform their duet today?” asked Jesse. No responses came from the kids.

“Nothing’s going on,” replied Winter to Laura.

“Nobody?” said Jesse.

“Really, tell me!” shouted Laura.

“I will not continue with you five jabbering on the entire lesson! That’s enough! Stop right now!!” screamed Jesse. “Would you like to repeat what I just said?” asked Jesse.

“Amanda would love to,” said Laura, trying to get out of it.

“Amanda,” said Jesse, “Please repeat what I just said.”

“I’m sorry Jesse, I don’t know, I wasn’t listening.”

“Well start doing it!” he yelled back. “I shouldn’t have to yell!”

Miss Sky stood next to Jesse, but began to move slightly back towards the wall. She didn’t appreciate it when people yelled. She preferred to handle things with care but control, rather than just yelling.

“Right, what I said was that if you’d like to perform your duet then you can go now,” he repeated.

“Oh, we’d like to,” said Rex, jumping out of his seat confidently.

“Maybe had you been listening, you would have already started by now,” said Jesse, raising his eyebrows.

“Come on, Amanda,” said Rex.

“Could I just have a final word with Rex just to make sure he knows what’s going on,” said Amanda to Jesse.

“Sure, be quick,” said Jesse.

Amanda yanked Rex by the arm and pulled him out of the choir room.

“Rex,” said Amanda, “What did you do to Laura?”

“I thought we were talking about our duet,” said Rex dumbfounded.

“No, of course not,” she said.

“Then why did you tell Jesse that -”

“Because I need to talk to you!” she yelled impatiently. “Did you post that Laura’s a lesbian on the internet?”

“Of course...”

“Rex!” screamed Amanda.

“...not.”

“Oh my gosh, you had me there for just one second. Don’t ever do that again!”

“Well, actually.. I did post it,” said Rex.

“Seriously, what did you do?” asked Amanda, not knowing whether to believe Rex anymore.

“I posted it.”

“Rex!” she said, punching her forehead with her fist in disbelief.

“I’m sorry, but she bullied ME about being bisexual, I have to bully HER for being lesbian,” said Rex.

“Rex, she never told anyone! Even though for those five seconds she teased us, she never spread the word of you being bi.”
“That’s true,” said Rex.

“Exactly.”

“Hurry up guys!” said Jesse, peeping through the door of the choir room.

“Be in in one minute,” replied Amanda, as Jesse walked back in and closed the door behind him.

“I can’t believe you Rex,” said Amanda. “Oh well, I guess we’d better get this duet over with. But I’m telling you, straight after it you’re going to ask Jesse for a toilet break, and while you’re in the toilet, you’re going to remove that post right away.”

“How will I do that?” asked Rex. “I don’t have the library’s computer with me.”

“The same way you do everything,” said Amanda, “On your phone.” She rolled her eyes.

“Let’s go,” said Rex, walking back into the choir room, Amanda following.

“You ready?” asked Jesse.

“Yeah,” said Amanda.

They perform “Raise Your Glass” by Pink, as their duet.

P!nk_-_Raise_Your_Glass

P!nk - Raise Your Glass

Amanda:

Right, right, turn off the lights

We're gonna lose our minds tonight

What's the dealio?

I love when it's all too much

5am turn the radio up

Where's the rock 'n roll?

Rex:

Party crasher, penny snatcher

Call me up if you're a gangsta

Don't be fancy, just get dancy

Why so serious?

Amanda and Rex:

So raise your glass if you are wrong

In all the right ways, all my underdogs

We will never be, never be anything but loud

And nitty gritty, dirty little freaks

Won't you come on and come on and

Raise your glass!

Just come on and come on and

Raise your glass!

Amanda (Rex):

Slam, slam, oh hot damn

What part of a party don't you understand?

We should just freak out

(Freak out already)

Can't stop, coming in hot

I should be locked up right on the spot

It's so on right now

(It's so f*cking on right now)

Rex:

Party crasher, penny snatcher

Call me up if you're a gangsta

Don't be fizzy, just get dizzy

Why so serious?

Amanda and Rex:

So raise your glass if you are wrong

In all the right ways, all my underdogs

We will never be, never be anything but loud

And nitty gritty, dirty little freaks

Won't you come on and come on and

Raise your glass!

Just come on and come on and

Raise your glass!

Won't you come on and come on and

Raise your glass!

Just come on and come on and

Raise your glass!

Amanda:

Oh sh*t! My glass is empty

That sucks!

Rex (Amanda):

So if you're too school for cool

And you're treated like a fool

(You're treated like a fool)

You can choose to let it go

We can always, we can always party on our own

Amanda and Rex:

So raise your (oh, f*ck)

So raise your glass if you are wrong

In all the right ways, all my underdogs

We will never be, never be anything but loud

And nitty gritty, dirty little freaks

So raise your glass if you are wrong

In all the right ways, all my underdogs

We will never be, never be anything but loud

And nitty gritty, dirty little freaks

Won't you come on and come on and

Raise your glass!

Just come on and come on and

Raise your glass!

Won't you come on and come on and

Raise your glass for me!

Just come on and come on and

Raise your glass for me!

The Unitards all cheered for the two.

“That was great,” said Jesse.

“Very well done,” praised Amy.

______________________________________________________________________________________________

The next day in the auditorium, Harmony and Winter stood patiently waiting for the rest of the glee club to arrive. Then, finally, Jesse and Amy walked in with the students assembled behind him.

“Back in line everybody,” instructed Amy to the kids.

“Miss Sky, we’re not in kindergarden anymore, we’re not six year olds anymore,” said Laura.

Amy didn’t know hot to respond, so instead allowed them to walk in not in an assembled line.

“Take your seats, wherever you like,” said Jesse to the Unitards.

Justine took the first seat and June and Laura sat beside them. A row behind, Carlton and Poppy sat, with Liz sitting on the corner the row behind them. Terri went to sit at the front row, but Jason whispered for him to sit at the back. Andy, Simon, Spider, Tommy and Freddie sat beside the two. Then Amanda, Rex, Teddy and Sugar sat beside a lonely Liz, making her a bit happier.

“Welcome,” said Harmony into the microphone, now appearing on the stage wearing a radiant bright red glittering dress with shimmering blue sequins dazzled all over its sides.

“Wow, she looks amazing,” whispered Terri to Andy.

“I, Harmony Harpse, welcome Winter Delgado.”

At these words, Winter walked happily but nervously onto the stage. Her dress was the same as Harmony’s, only her dress was a sea blue color with red sequins glittering all along the side. They both wore violet headbands and the club were awed by their beautiful costumes.

“Hi, today we present you with our duet,” said Winter. “But before we start, we’ve got a few things we’d like to mention.”

Harmony, taking the microphone from Winter, then speaking into it, said, “Our duet today is a mash-up. This just means that we have taken two songs and put them together to make it something new and more exciting.”

Winter now took the microphone from Harmony and recited the words she had memorized off by heart. “Our duet is about how it doesn’t matter if you’re a bit on the heavy side, you’re covered in pimples, or you’re skin is a different color, or your voice is a different accent, because there are more important things in life than beauty, popularity and...” she stuttered, looking at Jason, “...love.”

“But love is the most beautiful thing in the world Winter,” interrupted Amy.

“I know Miss Sky, but not everyone can have it, unfortunately. Sometimes people find love, but must let it go. Love isn’t always meant to be,” said Winter, looking at Jason, trying to hold in her tears. Jason’s eyes were now becoming watery too.

“Anyway, we’ll now begin,” said Harmony, taking Winter by the arm and handing her the other microphone.

“Our duet is a mash up of ‘Born This Way’ by Lady Gaga, and ‘Express Yourself’ by Madonna,” said Harmony.

Born_This_Way_Express_Yourself_-_Ariana_Grande_Lyrics_DL

Born This Way Express Yourself - Ariana Grande Lyrics DL

Harmony:

Don't go for second best baby

Put your love to the test

You know, you know, you've got to

Make him express how he feels

And maybe then you'll know your love is real

Winter:

My mama told me when I was young

We are all born superstars

She rolled my hair and put my lipstick on

In the glass of her boudoir

Harmony:

"There's nothin’ wrong with loving who you are"

She said, "'cause he made you perfect, babe"

"So hold your head up girl and you'll go far,

Listen to me when I say"

Harmony and Winter:

Don't go for second best baby

Put your love to the test

You know, you know, you've got to

Make him express how he feels

And maybe then you'll know your love is real

Winter:

Long stem roses are the way to your heart

But he needs to start with your head

Satin sheets are very romantic

What happens when you're not in bed

Harmony:

You deserve the best in life

So if the time isn't right then move on

Second best is never enough

You'll do much better baby on your own

Winter and Harmony:

I'm beautiful in my way

'Cause God makes no mistakes

I'm on the right track baby

I was born this way

Don't hide yourself in regret

Just love yourself and your set

I'm on the right track baby

I was born this way

Winter:

Ooo there ain't no other way

Baby I was born this way

Baby I was born this way

Harmony:

So if you want it right now, make him show you how

Express what he's got, oh baby ready or not

Winter:

And when you're gone he might regret it

Think about the love he once had

Try to carry on, but he just won't get it

He'll be back on his knees

Harmony and Winter:

I'm beautiful in my way

'Cause God makes no mistakes

I'm on the right track baby

I was born this way

Don't hide yourself in regret

(Make him express yourself)

Just love yourself and you're set

I'm on the right track baby

I was born this way

Born-born-bo-bo-born this way

Ooooh-ooooh

'Cause God makes no mistakes

I'm on the right track baby

(Baby I was born this way hey HEEEY)

I was born this way

Don't hide yourself in regret

(Respect yourself)

Just love yourself and you're set

I'm on the right track baby

I was born this way

I was born this way hey

(Don't go for second best baby)

I was born this way hey

I'm on the right track baby I was born this way hey

HEY, I was born this way hey

Express yourself

Winter:

Just like hey hey hey hey...”

The Unitards cheered and clapped for their absolutely amazing performance.

“Wonderful,” whispered Jason under his breath.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

“...And that’s why we can’t quit the duet competition,” said Jason to Freddie in what appeared to be either one of their bedrooms.

“YEAH, now that’s the attitude I’m talking about,” said Freddie.

“I need to do this for her. To win back her heart.”

In the choir room the following day, Freddie and Jason stood before the glee club.

Matt_Dusk_-_Good_News_-_Music_Video

Matt Dusk - Good News - Music Video

Jason:

I’m here, it’s clear

I’m in the moment

Back with a better view

Not a clue where I’m going

But going all out for you

Tomorrow’s not promised

What the wise man used to say

So let’s seize each day

Freddie:

No ties, we’re just happy-go-lucky

Don’t you blow the surprise

So nice like I told

When I hold you.”

Jason sang the song, almost as if to Winter, endlessly staring at her throughout the song.

Jason and Freddie:

It’s like falling in love for the first time

It’s like waking up fresh in the sunshine

Like having nothing to lose

Baby you’re good news, you’re good news

It’s like dancing all night ‘til the light’s gone

It’s like singing along to your favorite song

It never gets old with you

Baby you’re good news, you’re good news

Jason:

You can come as you like

As you want to

Love’s a revolving door

Let it spin let me want you

I want you to come back for more

Now easily we could be madly in lust for life

But baby why ask why

Freddie:

No ties, we’re just happy-go-lucky

Don’t you blow the surprise

So nice like I told

When I hold you

Jason and Freddie:

It’s like falling in love for the first time

It’s like waking up fresh in the sunshine

Like having nothing to lose

Baby you’re good news, you’re good news

It’s like dancing all night ‘til the light’s gone

It’s like singing along to your favorite song

It never gets old with you

Baby you’re good news, you’re good news

Jason:

Now if you love something you’ve got to let it go

If it comes back it’s yours, and it means that much more

Jason and Freddie:

It’s like falling in love for the first time

It’s like waking up fresh in the sunshine

Like having nothing to lose

Baby you’re good news, you’re good news

It’s like dancing all night ‘til the light’s gone

It’s like singing along to your favorite song

It never gets old with you

Baby you’re good news, you’re good news

It’s like falling in love for the first time

It’s like waking up fresh in the sunshine

Like having nothing to lose

Baby you’re good news, you’re good news

It’s like dancing all night ‘til the light’s gone

It’s like singing along to your favorite song

It never gets old with you

Baby you’re good news, you’re good news.”

Winter is at her locker, Harmony by her side, having a conversation with her.

“I honestly think we’ve got this duet competition in the bag,” said Harmony.

“Yeah.”

Then Jason walked by, head facing the ground, then suddenly he realized Winter. Gazing at her for more than three seconds, he had to go up to her.

“Winter!” exclaimed Jason.

Winter looked away, trying not to notice him. Harmony took Jason by the elbow and dragged him away to a corner.

“Jason, do you know how much pain you’ve caused this poor girl?” said Harmony, once she knew Winter couldn’t hear.

“I’m sorry. I really need to talk to her,” said Jason.

“Well she doesn’t want to talk to you anymore,” said Harmony truthfully.

“But I -”

“Stop!” yelled Harmony. “Why would you do that? I know you the most out of this whole entire school, you’ve never been that selfish before.”

“I’m sorry, but I really need to talk to her. I sung that duet with Freddie to try and win her back you know,” he reveals.

“I already told you, she doesn’t want to talk to you! Leave her alone!”

“Fine!” yelled Jason, giving her a nudge as he stormed off.

As the kids sat in the choir room, they watched Spider and Laura as the music to their duet of “Hello, Hello” by Elton John and Lady Gaga played.

Spider:
I feel I'm feeling light
And I'm up to see the sights
Ain't life a many splendored thing?

Laura:
Ducking up and down
All those crazy sights and sounds
Bounce around like puppets on a string
Never gonna find, anything to change my mind
Famous last lines of a fool
Spider:
Just when you think
Your chain is just one link
Something comes to tip you off your stool

Laura and Spider:
Hello hello
Hello hello
Oh my my, what have we here?
What a surprise
What a surprise!
Laura:
Hello, Hello
Hello, Hello
I'm not alone it's good to know
Spider:
Someone dropped right in to say hello
Laura and Spider:
Hello!
Spider:
Do a dizzy dance
Twirl around and take a chance
Nothing's easy
Nothing comes for free
Laura:
Sniffing on a flower
Run through an autumn shower
Spider and Laura:
I'm better off with someone else like me
Hello hello
Hello hello
Oh my my, what have we here?
What a surprise
What a surprise!
Laura:
Hello, Hello
Hello, Hello
I'm not alone it's good to know
Spider:
Someone dropped right in to say hello
Spider and Laura:
Hello hello
Hello hello
Oh my my, what have we here?
What a surprise
What a surprise!
Laura:
Hello, Hello
Hello, Hello
I'm not alone it's good to know
Spider:
Someone dropped right in to say hello
Spider and Laura:
Hello Hello
Hello hello
Spider:
Oh my my, what have we here?
What a surprise
What a surprise!
Laura:
Hello, Hello
Hello, Hello
I'm not alone it's good to know
Spider:
Someone dropped right in to say hello
Spider and Laura:
Hello!
Hello!
Hello!”

“Wow, well done. Very sweet,” said Amy.

“Great job,” agreed Jesse.

“So, who’s won? And what’s the prize?” asked Harmony, already thinking about whether she’d be winning anything decent.

“Well, the winner will be announced tomorrow morning, first period. Miss Sky and I need some time to re-think over our results.”

The Unitards sat eagerly awaiting the results, each of them chatting away to one another about why they’re going to win.

“Do you think the kids will be angry about what we’ve done?” asked Jesse, his voice at a whisper.

“They shouldn’t be,” whispered Amy back.

“Alright!” yelled Jesse, grasping the kids attention. His voice was now his usual tone. “After lots of thinking and discussing, Miss Sky and I could come to only one conclusion.”

And what was that?” asked Harmony in her head. “A win for Harmony and Winter? Oh, how surprising.

“..The winner is...” began Jesse. Now Amy and Jesse spoke in unison, “....Everybody!!”

Harmony’s face dropped instantly.

“But clearly Winter and I were better than the rest of them?” thought Harmony.

“Everybody wins a prize,” said Jesse.

Now Amy spoke, “You all win an official Unitards trophy and award. You all did such an amazing job, we couldn’t pick one winner, so everyone has to win.”

There finally seemed to be a greater spark in the eyes of The Unitards, as if they didn’t care so much about the possession prize they would have won.

But some problems still remained unsolved.

Amanda still worried that someday Laura would find out that Winter had told Rex and Amanda about how Laura could be a closeted lesbian.

Winter stared over at Jason, her eyes meeting with his. She instantly diverged her head, turning away from all the pain.
