Joshua's Glee-munity

To say that the Glee Wiki Community means so much to me would be an understatement. I can honestly say that I am in total gratitude coming in here and meeting my 2nd family here. That bonding I share with the users contrasts with the bondage of Glee. People may think Glee is unrealistic through their mutualism and that shared bond they have with every other member. If you had asked me 2 months ago, I would have agreed. Now, to even think that theory is remotely true would be a slap in the face because I've experienced that Glee bondage right here in Glee Wikia. To come in here for the first time, the blank display picture replicating my identity, represented my first assumption about this place which was "yep, I am not going to fit in." This initial reaction however was determined to be entirely false from the moment I clicked Join the Chat. That feeling of belonging from that first moment really made me feel that I was actually in the Glee atmosphere (without the singing of course :p).

To me, Glee Wikia also defines coming together. We're all different in race, sexuality, religion, shape, personalities etc, but we all do have something in common. Our passion for Glee, whether its the story lines, the music, the characters, the romance heck all of them. We're were brought together for our love for glee and are held together by our difference, in which are all viewed the same in Glee and in the Glee community. Overall, this community means the value of what the show is trying to bring which is tolerance and love by which I for one and many others have experienced in this community.

November 19 (i think), 2011:

• Gets arrested for wrong doing and was sent home after a party gone wrong. Was told by my mother that she'll doubt she will ever see a positive change in me and didn't talk to me for a day.

November 20 (i think), 2011:

• Was told by my sister that I was an embarrassment to the family.

December 9, 2011:

• Decides to buy best friends computer after she moved interstate.

December 12, 2011:

• Felt a little bit nosy and looked through my friends history and found a large chunk of Glee Wikia links and decides to join.
• completes my registration into the wonderful world of Glee Wikia and joins chat for the very first time.

December 13, 2011 - January 6, 2012:

• Was fortunate enough to have met so many people, each with their own unique values and personalities to whom I consider my buds forever. They helped me become more open and cooperated with me thoroughly at the time I needed the most. They were also tolerable enough to handle my annoying habits.

January 7, 2012:

• Was given the responsibility of taking action against wrong doing on the site, when I was included into the Spam Team.

January 12, 2012:

• Was honoured to be given another responsibility by becoming a chat moderator.

January 12, 2012 - Present:

• Feels happier and healthier socially, physically and mentally. I've become much more open and has gotten people to trust in me. My responsibility levels have become much higher not only on the wikia, but in real life too. I've been getting proud recognitions from my family and have met my best friends in here.
