So here’s what you missed on Glee: The Next Generation:
Claude managed to get a date with Jaxon. Miles faced hate due to his drunken kiss with Jaxon, but with New Directions’ help, he defied the labels. Nicole is still trying to decide whether or not she wants to accept Dillon’s promise ring. Chad came out to his best friend Louis. Taylor has been acting really territorial to her friends with benefits Aldy. Breezy and Miles seem like they may be a coupe now. Bella is going strong with her new boyfriend Reece, who happens to be Hallie’s cousin. Lucas and Evan tried to be intimate, but Lucas can’t stand to be touched due to his gay bashing. Hallie’s got her own emotional baggage. She was taken advantage of at a party by a boy named Chris. He’s dead now and left her with twin babies to raise on her own. Kevin’s struggling with trying to get a solo at Regionals, but he’s also faced body issues in the past.
And that’s what you missed on Glee!

Nicole gently banged the gavel and set it aside. She looked around the room at the group of people who were sitting around the table. Honey, Declan, Bella, Rose, Kevin, Hallie, Lana, and a new girl.
“I now call this meeting of the Celibacy Club to order,” Nicole said. “Our first order of business is to welcome our newest member. Her name is Anastasia Watson.”
“Actually it’s Ana,” the girl said. “I don’t like Anastasia. It makes me sound like a Disney princess.”
“Welcome, Ana,” Declan said.
“Now, for our next order of business,” Nicole said. “Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and we need to figure out what we can do as a club to celebrate.”
“How about we do a school dance?” Honey suggested.
“All in favor?” Nicole asked.
Everyone raised their hand. Honey smiled.
“Awesome,” Honey said.
“What kind of a dance should this be?” Nicole asked. “Sadie Hawkins’ style or what else?”
“Maybe a Sweethearts Dance,” Hallie suggested. “Great for couples.”
“All in favor?” Nicole asked. Once again, all the hands shot up.
“I can get some of the people in my art class to design posters and make invitations,” Declan said.
“That would be great,” Nicole said. “Thanks, Declan. Now, personally I think that the dance should be the Friday night before Valentine’s Day.”
“Agreed,” Lana said. “No point in having it on Valentine’s Day. It’s a Sunday and everyone will be at church.”
“Friday night it is,” Nicole said. “Alright guys, let’s make this the best Valentine’s Dance ever.”

Lana said goodbye to Hallie as they parted ways for their next classes. Ana walked to Lana and joined her.
“You better watch your girl,” Ana said. “I have it on good authority that someone has eyes for her and it isn’t Bella James.”
“Woah, are you kidding me?” Lana asked.
“I don’t kid,” Ana said.
“Weren’t you in the Femme Fatales?” Lana asked.
“Briefly,” Ana answered. “I joined with some of the other Cheerios.”
“Anyway,” Lana said. “Why are you telling me this? Do you have some kind of ulterior motive?”
“If someone was moving in on my girl, I’d want to know. It doesn’t help matters that the girl I have my eyes on is trying to take your girl. Personally, I think we need to join forces to keep our ladies on lockdown.”
“Our ladies? You mean you’re--”
“I’m what they call a Lipstick Lesbian,” Ana said. “It’s shock, I know.”
“Okay,” Lana said, shaking Ana’s hand. “You have a deal. What do we need to do?”
“I haven’t figured that out yet,” Ana said. “The attempted Hallie –snatcher is still in the closet. I don’t wanna force her out. It may be complicated to do anything at the moment. I think we just need to remain vigilant. Oh, and be careful who you leave her alone with.”
Ana winked as she started down the hall, leaving Lana looking perplexed.

Lana approached Jaxon in the cafeteria later that day. She put both her arms onto the table, leaning over him. She was not very pleased.
“Alright, Mr. Gaydar,” Lana said. “Who is it? Who is in the closet?”
Jaxon looked up, confused. “Come again?”
“You said Adam wasn’t gay but someone else was. Who? Tell me.”
“It’s not right for me to force someone out of the closet, Lana,” Jaxon said.
“Whoever it is, they’re trying to steal Hallie from me. I need to know.”
“I can’t break that ethics code, Lana. I’m sorry. Besides, Hallie is head over heels in love with you. She’s not going anywhere.”
“I agree,” Honey said. “Can’t we just sit down and talk about what our Valentine’s plans are?”
Lana sighed as she took her seat next to Jaxon and Nicole. “Fine. I’ll be trying not to lose Hallie to some home wrecker.”
Jaxon rolled his eyes. “I don’t have any plans. I’m single after all.”
“What about Claude?” Miles asked.
“Me and Claude aren’t officially dating. Besides, I’m not sure he’s the guy I wanna be with.”
James looked up and cut his eyes in Jaxon’s direction. He tried to not look too excited.
“So what did happen on your date?” Miles asked.
Jaxon thought back, replaying the events of his date with Claude.
As they sat in the backseat of Claude’s car, Claude leaned in and began to kiss Jaxon. Jaxon tried to resist, but Claude was determined. Claude’s hand reached down. The next few seconds were a blur, but all Jaxon knew was Claude somewhere he didn't want him. Jaxon pushed Claude off him.
“Claude, what are you doing?” Jaxon asked.
“What I’ve wanted to do since the moment you kissed me. Come on.”
“No, Jaxon said. “I’m not like that, okay? Just watch the movie."
“Who comes to the drive-in to just watch a movie?” Claude asked, smiling.
“I do,” Jaxon said.
“Oh. I thought when you suggested a drive-in…I’m so stupid,” Claude said.
Jaxon reached over and patted Claude’s shoulder. “No, no you’re not.”
Jaxon sighed as he was brought back to reality. “Nothing happened.”
“Why did it take you so long to answer?” Miles asked.
“Can we please not talk about this?” Jaxon asked, obviously uncomfortable.
“Sorry,” Miles said. “I was just trying to make conversation.”
“What do you know about Ana Watson?” Lana asked.
“She’s on the Cheerios squad,” Rose said. “Third in command after Hallie and myself.”
“Is she someone I can trust?” Lana asked.
“Come on, level with us, Lana,” Breezy said. “What’s going on?”
“Yeah,” Hallie said, sitting her tray at the table and taking a seat. “That’s what I’d like to know.”
Lana rolled her eyes. “Nothing.”
“Lana heard from some girl named Ana Watson that another girl has eyes for you,” Jaxon said.
“Thanks for ratting me out,” Lana said with a glare.
“You don’t have to worry,” Hallie said. “I’m with you, Lana. That’s not gonna change due to some crazy little girl crush.”
“See?” Honey said. “We told you.”
“You should know me better than that,” Hallie said.
James got up and started out the door. Honey saw him about to leave, deciding to follow him.
“Wait up,” Honey said, catching up with James.
“I’m gonna win Jaxon back. I’ve got a plan,” James said.
Honey smiled. “What is it?”

James was pretty much lost as he stepped into Dalton Academy. He looked around as he walked down the corridor.
“Can I help you?” X asked, appearing out of nowhere it seemed.
“I need to speak to Claude,” James said.
X stood there for a second before eventually deciding to lead James to the common room.
“There he is,” X said, motioning to Claude.
“Hey, James,” Claude said, standing up from the sofa. “Can I help you.”
“Excuse me, can I please talk to you for a minute,” James said.
“Uh huh, sure, you know you look kinda familiar,” Claude responded.
“Yeah, you do too but I just wanted to know do you know somebody named well, you know his name.”
“Oh, yeah definitely, I know his name,” Claude said with a smile.
“I just wanted to let you know, he's mine.”
“Uh no, no he's mine.”
“You need to give it up,” James and Claude sang. “Had about enough. It's not hard to see the boy is mine. I'm sorry that you seem to be confused. He belongs to me. The boy is mine.”
“I think it's time we got this straight,” James sang. “Let's sit and talk, face to face. There is no way you could mistake him, for your man. Are you insane?”
“See I know that you may be just a bit jealous of me,” Claude sang. “Cause you're blind if you can't see that his love is all in me.”
“See I tried to hesitate. I didn't want to say, what he told me. He said, without me he couldn't make it through the day. Ain't that a shame?”
“And maybe you misunderstood ‘cause I can't see how he could wanna take his time and that's all good. All of my love was all it took.”
“You need to give it up,” James and Claude sang. “Had about enough. It's not hard to see the boy is mine. I'm sorry that you seem to be confused. He belongs to me. The boy is mine.”
James began to circle around Claude, sizing him up.
“Must you do the things you do?” Claude sang. “Keep on acting like a fool. You need to know, it's me not you and if you didn't know it, boy it's true.
“I think that you should realize and try to understand, why,” James sang. “He is a part of my life. I know it's killing you inside.”
“You can say what you wanna say,” Claude sang. “What we have, you can't take. From the truth, you can't escape. I can tell the real, from the fake.”
“When will you get the picture?” James sang. “You're the past, I'm the future. Get away, it's my time to shine. If you didn't know, the boy is mine. Oh woah. Enough to see the boy is mine. Sorry that you seem to be confused. He belongs to me. The boy is mine.”
“Ooh, had about enough,” Claude sang. “He’s mine, he’s mine, he’s mine, he’s mine. I'm so sorry you seem to be confused. He belongs to me. The boy is mine. You can't destroy this love I've found. Your silly games, I won't allow. The boy is mine, without a doubt. You might as well throw in the towel.”
“What makes you think that he wants you?” James sang. “When I'm the one that brought him to this special place that's in my heart. He was my love, right from the start.”
“You need to give it up,” James and Claude sang. “Had about enough. It's not hard to see the boy is mine. I'm sorry that you seem to be confused. He belongs to me. The boy is mine. You need to give it up. Had about enough. It's not hard to see the boy is mine. I'm sorry that you seem to be confused. He belongs to me. The boy is mine.
“Not yours,” Claude sang.
“But mine,” James sang.
“Not yours.”
“But mine.”
“Not yours.”
“But mine.”
“I’m sorry that you seem to be confused,” James and Claude sang. “He belongs to me. The boy is mine.”
“I’m not gonna just give him up,” Claude said. “You had your chance and it clearly didn’t work out.”
“Then prepare for a fight,” James said. “Because I’m not gonna just let you have him.”
James turned around and walked out of the common room, leaving X and Claude in a stunned silence.

Bella sat on a bench in the courtyard after school, waiting for Reece as she promised. When he finally appeared, guitar slung over his shoulder, Bella smiled.
“I told you I’d come,” Reece said. “A gentleman always keeps his promise.”
“What’s the guitar for?” Bella asked. “Plan to serenade me?”
Reece smiled. “Yes, actually. I was gonna ask you out for Valentine’s Day and I thought maybe a song would break the ice and convince you to say yes.”
Bella smiled. “It couldn’t hurt.”
Reece readied his guitar, making sure it was tuned as he took a seat beside Bella.
“The trouble with girls is they’re a mystery,” Reece sang as he strummed along on his guitar. “Something about ’em puzzles me. Spent my whole life trying to figure out just what them girls are all about. The trouble with girls is they're so dang pretty. Everything about ’em does something to me. But I guess that’s the way it’s supposed to be. They smile that smile. They bat those eyes. They steal you with hello. They kill you with goodbye. They hook you with one touch and you can’t break free. Yeah, the trouble with girls is nobody loves trouble as much as me.”
Bella smiled at Reece, who returned the smile. His eyes twinkled.
“They’re sugar and spice and angel wings and hell on wheels and tight blue jeans. A summer night, down by the lake. An old memory that you can’t shake. They’re hard to find, yet there’s so many of ’em. The way that you hate that you already love ’em. But I guess that’s the way it’s supposed to be. They smile that smile. They bat those eyes. They steal you with hello. They kill you with goodbye. They hook you with one touch and you can’t break free. Yeah, the trouble with girls is nobody loves trouble as much as me. The way they hold you out on the dance floor. The way they ride in the middle of your truck. The way they give you a kiss at the front door. Leave you wishing you could have gone up and just as you walk away. You hear that sweet voice say stay. They smile that smile. They bat those eyes. They steal you with hello. They kill you with goodbye. They hook you with one touch and you can’t break free. Yeah, the trouble with girls is nobody loves trouble as much as me.”
Bella laughed as she wrapped her arms around Reece.
“Yes,” she said. “I will go out with you. And, I was wondering if you would be my date to the Sweethearts Dance Friday night.”
“I’d love to,” Reece said, smiling his crooked smile.

As Evan walked into the choir room, he noticed that besides the band, Lana and Rose were the only other people there.
“So, Lana,” Evan said. “Why did you call this emergency after school meeting?”
“Sit down,” Lana said. “It’s complicated.”
Evan raised an eyebrow. “Okay, then.”
“We all know that it’s no secret the two of you have been planning to take the next step with your boyfriends,” Lana said. “So far, neither of you have been successful.”
“Oh God,” Rose said. “Is this Sex Ed?”
Lana laughed. “No, but Valentine’s Day is upon us and it’s the most romantic time of the year. I was thinking it was the perfect time for all of us to finally take that step.”
“Yeah, not so easy,” Evan said. “My boyfriend freaks out every time I touch him below his neck.”
“Yeah, it’s not gonna be easy for me either,” Lana said. “Considering how Hallie’s first time was when Chris took advantage of her. But, Valentine’s is such a perfect day to take this step. I just know it’s gonna be special for us.”
“Kevin and I decided we were ready a while ago,” Rose said. “The perfect opportunity never arose. I wanted it to be special and romantic, not something we did for the hell of it.”
“Don't it feel good, babe?” Lana sang as the band sprang to life and began to play. “Don't it feel good, baby? 'Cause it's so brand new, babe. It's so brand new, baby. Don't it feel good, babe? Don't it feel good, baby? 'Cause it's so brand new, babe. It's so brand new, baby. Girl here we are, in this big old empty room. Staring at ya, who's gonna make the first move?”
“Been doing our thing for a minute,” Rose sang. “And now when our hearts are in it.' The only place to go, is all the way.”
“Is that alright?” Evan sang. “Is that okay? You don't need to be nervous, no baby. ‘Cause I, got, you, all night. Don't you worry ‘bout a thing babe, just--”
“Just go with it, go with it, go with it,” Lana, Rose, and Evan sang. “I will go real slow with it, slow with it. It's our first time. Go with it, go with it, go with it. I will go real slow with it, slow with it. It's my first time on you baby and I wanna make it right for you. It's our first time.”
As Lana sang, she imagined her and Hallie together, making out on a blanket under the stars.
“Clothes are not required, for what we got planned,” Lana sang. “Ooh girl, you're my desire, your wish is my demand.”
Rose imagined her and Kevin in her bed, kissing romantically.
“Treat you like a prince,” Rose sang. “Oh boy, you're so delicious. Like ice cream on a summer day, gonna eat you before you melt away.”
“Is that alright?” Evan sang. “Is that okay? You don't need to be nervous, no baby. ‘Cause I, got, you, all night. Don't you worry ‘bout a thing babe, no no no.”
“Don't it feel good, babe?” Evan sang. “Don't it feel good, baby? 'Cause it's so brand new, babe. It's so brand new, baby. Don't it feel good, babe? Don't it feel good, baby? 'Cause it's so brand new, babe. It's so brand new, baby.”
Lana smiled at Rose and Evan as the song came to an end.

Chad shoved the final contents of his locker into his backpack and shut it. He slung his backpack over his shoulder and started to walk away.
“Chad?” Jaxon said, stepping forward. “What’s going on?”
“I’m leaving McKinley,” Chad said.
“Why?” Jaxon asked. “Is this about Louis?”
“Pretty much,” Chad said. “I’ve been slushied four times, the only time he talks to me is to yell gay slurs at me, and he sprayed graffiti on my truck. Do you know I’m having to pay for a complete paint job now? Yeah, on my work salary and tips from busing tables, that’s quite an undertaking.”
“So you’re gonna run away again?” Jaxon asked. “What about fighting back for once?”
“I’m not like you, Jaxon. I don’t want to spend my life fighting.”
“Where are you gonna go? You’ve already left Thurston and now here.”
“I’m going back to Thurston. At least I already have friends there and I can somewhat get my life back on track. They have a new principal and Reece says it’s much more LGBT inclusive.”
“I wish you the best, Chad. But you can’t run forever. Eventually, you’ll have to fight. It’s better to lose everything fighting for what you believe in than to spend your life running away and wondering what if.”
“I respect you, Jaxon,” Chad said. “You’re who I wish I could be. Friends?”
Jaxon nodded as Chad held his hand out. Jaxon took it and shook it.
“Friends, Chad.”

Taylor didn’t look too happy as Rose gave Aldy a friendly hug and thanked him. She marched immediately over with her hands on her hips.
“Hey, Rose,” Taylor said. “Lindsay Lohan called. She wants her hair, complexion, and freckles back.”
“Oh hold up,” Rose said. “Excuse me?”
“Stay away from my man, Cheetara,” Taylor said.
“Look,” Aldy said. “Nothing was going on. Rose was just thanking me for letting her use my notes for a class. That’s it. Besides, I’ve told you that we’re not dating.”
Taylor huffed as she crossed her arms. “Whatever.”
“Besides,” Aldy said. “I have already gotten five offers for the Sweethearts Dance and I am up to my neck in secret admirers.
“Well, isn’t that great,” Taylor said. “Just rub it in my face, why don’t you?”
Aldy shook his head as he shut the locker. “We’re not dating, Taylor. We never dated. Get over it, okay? Stop being so clingy.”
Aldy slammed his locker shut and walked off. Taylor looked at Rose, who shrugged her shoulders.

The next day, Hallie opened her locker and watched as a heart shaped Valentine fell to the floor. Thinking it was from Lana, she smiled as she picked it up and began to read it.
“‘To Hallie, I have always loved you. You don’t know who I am, but I hope one day you will. Love always, your secret admirer.’ Wow, Lana was right. But who could it be?”
Natasha watched Hallie from afar, hanging around the corner.
“Good girls are pretty like all the time,” Natasha sang. “I'm just pretty some of the time. Good girls are happy and satisfied. I won't stop asking until I die. I just can't deal with the rules. I can't take the pressure. It's got me saying ooh, yeah. Who's that girl that you dream of? Who's that girl that you think you love? Who's that girl, well I'm nothing like her. I know there's no such girl. I swear I can't take the pressure. Who's that girl?”
Hallie quickly hid the Valentine as Lana made her way to join Hallie. Hallie smiled as she wrapped her arms around Hallie.
“Good girls don't say no or ask you why. I won't let you love me until you really try. Good girls are sexy like every day. I'm only sexy when I say it's okay. I just can't deal with the rules. I can't take the pressure, oh no. It's got me saying ooh, yeah. Who's that girl that you dream of? Who's that girl that you think you love? Who's that girl, what if I'm nothing like her? I know there's no such girl. I swear I can't take the pressure. Who's that girl? Let's play a game that you've never tried. You be the girl and I'll be the guy. Let's pretend everything has changed, and then would you love me any different?”
Hallie and Lana walked away, hand-in-hand, as Natasha looked on, longingly.
“I just can't deal with the rules. I can't take the pressure, oh no. Who's that girl? Who's that girl that you dream of? Who's that girl that you think you love? Who's that girl, what if I'm nothing like her? I know there's no such girl. I swear I can't take the pressure. Who's that girl? Who's that girl? Who's that girl that you dream of? Who's that girl that you think you love? Who's that girl, what if I'm nothing like her? I know there's no such girl. I swear I can't take the pressure. Who's that girl?”
“Give it up,” Ana said, appearing beside Natasha. “Hallie is not going to leave Lana anytime soon and the sooner you stop kidding yourself, the better.”
Natasha turned to face Ana. “Do you know what it’s like to honestly love someone with all your heart only to have them not even notice you exist?”
Ana nodded her head. “Yeah, I do. See, I am in love with this girl but she’s in love with someone else, who just so happens to be in love with someone else.”
Ana smiled a half smile before walking off. Natasha thought for a moment, looking back at Ana as she disappeared into a crowd of students.

After school, Evan brought Lucas back to his house. His parents and sister were all gone, attending some awards banquet for his sister.
She’s so perfect, Evan thought, obviously jealous.
Evan shut the door as he smiled at Lucas. Lucas returned the smile nervously.
“So, we’re really gonna do this?” Lucas asked.
“I wanna take this next step, Lucas. I love you more than I have ever loved anyone. Jaxon, India, and Breezy, none of them have meant to me what you mean to me. I promise I will go slow.”
Evan threw his shirt aside as he climbed onto the bed. He cupped Lucas’s cheek as he began to kiss him.
Lucas sighed as Evan pulled his shirt over his head and began to gently kiss his torso.
“That tickles,” Lucas said with a smile.
Evan returned the smile as he gently laid his hand on Lucas’ abs. Lucas closed his eyes and jumped. Evan looked taken by surprise.
“Flashbacks?” Evan said.
Lucas nodded. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me.”
Evan sighed. “Let’s just keep going. Push past the flashbacks. Maybe they will subside once we hit our groove.”
Lucas flinched as Evan began to kiss his torso again
“Look,” Lucas said, pushing Evan away. “We don’t have to do this.”
“What are you saying?” Evan said. “We should stop?”
“Oh, it's so hot, and I need some air,” Lucas sang. “And boy, don't stop 'cause I'm halfway there. It's not complicated, we're just syncopated. We can read each other's minds. One love united, two bodies synchronizing. Don't even need to touch me, baby, just breathe on me, yeah, oh. Baby just, breathe on me. We don't need to touch, just breathe, oh, yeah.”
Evan raised up and sat there, looking at Lucas and lost in thought.
“Oh, this is way beyond the physical. Tonight, my senses don't make sense at all. Our imagination, taking us to places we have never been before. Take me in, let it out, don't even need to touch me baby, just breathe on me. Just breathe on me. We don't need to touch, just breathe on me. Just breathe on me. We don't need to touch just breathe. Monogamy is the way to go. Just put your lips together and blow. Breathe, breathe, oh. Just breathe on me. We don't need to touch, just breathe on me. Just breathe on me. We don't need to touch just.”
Evan sighed. “We don’t need to touch? How can we take this relationship to the next step if we can’t touch?”
“I’m sorry, Evan.”
Evan shook his head. “Let’s just watch a movie, okay?”

Hallie watched as Lana undressed. Her eyes wandered to the tattoo, which she now actually found cute. Lana climbed onto the bed and began to kiss her. First, her lips, then her neck.
Ever since Lana and I made this decision to go all the way, my mind has been racing. I love Lana and I want this to happen, but it’s hard when I have these memories of Chris and the night he took advantage of me.
But Lana, she’s so different. She’s gentle, warm, loving, and tender. It’s so completely different than with Chris.
Hallie opened her mouth and let a gasp escape as Lana began to kiss her stomach.
I just can’t believe we’ve taken this step. Yes, I am in the Celibacy club, but I am in love with Lana. I see myself spending the rest of my life with her.
Hallie’s head began to swim as Lana continued. Hallie reached down and ran her hand through Lana’s hair. The rest was a blur.

Declan took Honey’s hand as they walked toward her house.
“You sure you wanna do this?” Honey said. “My family can be kind of intense.”
Declan smiled. “Yes, I think it’s time.”
“You really wanna have dinner with my family?”
Declan nodded. “I’m going to take them out to Breadstix for Valentine’s Day Sunday night. I think since we’re getting serious, I need to officially meet the family.”
“It’s a really big step,” Honey said.
“I’m not afraid, Honey. I love you.”
“Just don’t tell them about our other big plans, okay? I don’t want Leroy and Hiram to flip out. Rachel, she might be alright with it, but they won’t be. And my dads can be kind of scary when they want to be.”
“Yeah, I noticed. That’s why I usually run when I see them.”
Honey laughed. “You think you can make it through dinner Sunday? Or are you gonna run off?”
Declan laughed. “No, I’m not gonna run away. I’m gonna do this. For you.”
Honey blushed as she stood on her tiptoes and kissed Declan.”

Rose smiled as she kissed Kevin. Kevin threw himself beside Rose as he caught his breath.
“Did we?” Rose asked.
Kevin nodded. “It was amazing. And you didn’t even make fun of me for how skinny I am.”
Rose smiled. “You are beautiful to me, Kevin. And what we just did only reaffirms that for me. I am so totally in love with you.”
Kevin laid his head over on Rose’s shoulder. “I am so lucky to have an amazing girl like you.”
“What are we gonna tell the Celibacy Club? If things worked out for Lana and Hallie, they’ll be losing four members.”
Kevin thought for a moment. “Maybe we don’t say anything. Who cares what they think? We’re in love.”
Rose nodded. “Yes, we are. It’s a great feeling, isn’t it?”
____________________________________________________________
The following day at school, Jaxon was quiet during Glee Club. Lana took a seat beside him.
“Would you help the Celibacy Club with some decorations?” Lana asked. “They’re kind of heavy and Declan can’t do it all by himself. Kevin’s not that strong, obviously.”
“Sure,” Jaxon said, blankly.
“Whatever you’re upset about, you can tell me,” Lana said. “Just talk to me.”
“It’s this whole James and Claude issue. I still love James, but he hurt me. Then Claude, he takes things so fast. He tried to have sex with me and I had to push him off. I feel so torn because I love James, but I like Claude.”
“Keyword is love, Jaxon. You said you love James. You didn’t say you love Claude.”
“But James is so different…I can’t keep putting myself on the line while he tries to find out who he is. This whole thing is so confusing.”
“Then how about you sing about it?” Lana asked. “That always helps.”
Jaxon nodded. “Okay, I will. And maybe I can figure things out.”
Jaxon raised his hand.
“Yes? Will asked.
“I would like to sing something,” Jaxon said.
“The floor is yours,” Will said.
Jaxon walked to the front of the room and looked around.
“Sometimes, it’s so easy to get lost and confused in love,” Jaxon said. “We often feel torn between two people and the answer isn’t always easy to find. I feel so confused and this song pretty much sums up how I feel.”
Lana smiled at Jaxon and gave him a thumbs up. Jaxon smiled back.
“Maybe it's the things I say. Maybe I should think before I speak,” Jaxon sang. “But I thought I knew enough to know myself and do what's right for me. And these walls I'm building now, you used to bring 'em down. And the tears I'm crying out, you used to wipe away. I thought you said it was easy listening to your heart. I thought you said I'd be okay. So why am I breaking apart? Don't wanna be torn. Don't wanna be torn. Don't wanna be torn. Don't wanna be torn.”
Jaxon looked at James, and they said a glance for a second. Inside, Jaxon felt like his old self and like everything was how it was supposed to be. But then, thoughts of Claude began 'to set in and he felt so warm inside.
“Don't make me choose between what I want and what you think I need. 'Cause I'll always be your little boy. But even little boys have got to dream. Now it all feels like a fight. You were always on my side. And the lonely I feel now, you used to make it go away. I thought you said it was easy listening to your heart. I thought you said I'd be okay. So why am I breaking apart? Don't wanna be torn. Why is this all so confusing? Complicated and consuming. Why does all this make me angry? I wanna go back to being happy. These tears I'm crying now you used to wipe away. I thought you said it was easy listening to your heart. I thought you said I'd be okay. So why am I breaking apart? Don't wanna be torn. Don't wanna be torn. Don't wanna be torn. Don't wanna be torn. Don't wanna be torn. Don't wanna be torn. Don't wanna be torn. Don't wanna be torn.”
James smiled at Jaxon. Jaxon returned the smile as Lana ran up and hugged Jaxon. The rest of New Directions, James included, joined in the giant group hug.

Nicole was walking through the courtyard when she stopped suddenly. She looked straight ahead and the Warblers stood there, Dillon in front.
“We’re here to deliver a singing telegram to Miss Nicole Martin for Valentine’s Day,” Chuck said. “From your loving Dillon. Happy Valentine’s Day.”
Nicole smiled, slightly blushing.
“Can this be true?” Dillon sang. “Tell me, can this be real? How can I put into words what I feel? My life was complete. I thought I was whole Why do I feel like I'm losing control? I never thought that love could feel like this and you've changed my world with just one kiss. How can it be that right here with me there's an angel? It's a miracle.”
“Your love is like a river, peaceful and deep,” the Warblers sang. “Your soul is like a secret that I never could keep. When I look into your eyes I know that it's true. God must have spent a little more time on you.”
“A little more time, yes he did baby,” Chuck sang.
“In all of creation, all things great and small,” Claude sang. “You are the one that surpasses them all. More precious than any diamond or pearl. They broke the mold when you came in this world. And I'm trying hard to figure out just how I ever did without the warmth of your smile. The heart of a child that's deep inside leaves me purified.”
“Your love is like a river, peaceful and deep,” the Warblers sang. “Your soul is like a secret that I never could keep. When I look into your eyes I know that it's true. God must have spent a little more time on you. On you, on you, on you, you. On you, on you, on you, you. Oh. On you, on you, on you, you. On you, on you, on you, you, yeah."
“Never thought that love could feel like this," Dillon sang. “And you changed my world with just one kiss. How can it be that right here with me there's an angel? It's a miracle.”
“Your love is like a river, peaceful and deep,” the Warblers sang. “Your soul is like a secret that I never could keep. When I look into your eyes I know that it's true. God must have spent a little more time on you. On you, on you, on you, you. On you, on you, on you, you. God must have spent a little more time on you. On you, on you, you. You, you, oh, yeah. A little more time on you, oh.”
Nicole smiled, wiping tears from her eyes. “Dillon, fellas, that was amazing. Yes, Dillon.”
“Yes, what?” Dillon asked.
“What you asked me on New Year’s Eve. I’m so sorry I took so long thinking about it, but now I know that I wanna be with you forever. Yes, I will accept your promise ring.”
Dillon smiled as he took the ring out of his pocket and slid it on Nicole’s finger.
“I love you,” Dillon said.
“I love you too,” Nicole said, pulling Dillon in for a kiss.

It was finally time for the Sweetheart’s Dance and all of Glee Club and their respective dates were in attendance. The place looked great, all thanks to the Celibacy Club’s hard work.
Miles stood awkwardly over the punch bowl, avoiding all his friends. Breezy walked over and joined him.
“Hey, Miles,” Breezy said.
Miles looked at Breezy, almost doing a double take. “What’s on your face?”
“A temporary tattoo,” Breezy said. “I know you are self-conscious about your scar so I got applied a Halloween scar tattoo. That way, you don’t feel so self-conscious.”
“That’s so sweet,” Miles said. “No one has ever done anything like that for me.”
“I did,” Breezy said. “Even though we’re not official.”
“Weren’t official,” Miles said with a smile. Breezy smiled from ear to ear.
“Really?”
Miles extended his hand. “Can I have this dance?”
Breezy nodded. “Of course.”

Lucas stood there, looking at Evan, and trying to think of what to say.
“Evan, this whole thing, it isn’t a problem is it? You’ve barely talked to me since.”
“Of course, it’s a problem,” Evan said. “You’re my boyfriend and I can’t even touch you. Do you know how frustrating that is?”
Lucas hung his head in shame. “I’m sorry.”
“I want to touch you, Lucas. I want to experience everything there is to experience with you, but I can’t. That really frustrates me.”
“Does that mean we’re over?” Lucas asked.
“No,” Evan replied. “But it means you have to work harder to recover, Lucas. You can’t live your life like this. It’s not fair to me and it’s not fair to you.”
Lucas nodded. “I understand.”

Natasha sat alone on the bleachers, watching as Hallie and Lana danced. Ana slowly walked over, her heels clicking with each step.
“Still hung up on Hallie?” Ana asked.
“Not really. I realize that it’s never gonna happen. I’m never gonna be happy.”
“It doesn’t have to be that way,” Ana said.
Natasha looked up at Ana, who held her hand out.
“Can I have this dance?” Ana asked.
“But everyone will know I’m a lesbian,” Natasha said.
“Girls dance with their female friends at dances all the time,” Ana said.
Natasha nodded. “Okay. One dance can’t hurt.”
Ana smiled. “Atta girl.”
Ana and Natasha walked to the middle of the gym and began to dance. Hallie shared a glance with Natasha. All of a sudden, it hit Hallie who her secret admirer was. She held Lana tightly, laying her head on Lana’s shoulder.
Natasha looked away, sad.

It was time for the last song of the night and New Directions took the stage. Lana had managed to talk them into doing a song, which Honey insisted should be an Ashlee Simpson song. The music started up and Honey walked to the front of the stage.
“I'm talking ‘bout love,” Honey sang. “All my girls stand in a circle and clap your hands this is for you. Ups and downs highs and lows no matter what you see me through.”
“My boyfriend he don't answer on the telephone,” Honey and Breezy sang. “I don't even know where the hell he goes.”
“But all my girls we're in a circle and nobody's gonna break through,” Honey sang.
“L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O,” New Directions sang. “Oh did you hear me say? L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. Did you hear me say? L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. I’m talking ‘bout L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. I'm talking ‘bout love.”
“Say you'll be my girls for life, girls for life,” Rose sang.
“Oh hold up, I need another one,” Bella sang. “I think you, you do too. Grab my bag, got my own money. Don't need any man in this room.”
“My boyfriend he'll be calling me now anytime,” Bella and Taylor sang. “I need all my girls to keep him off my mind.”
“So hold up we need another one,” Bella sang. “What we got is all good.”
“L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O,” New Directions sang. “Oh did you hear me say? L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. Did you hear me say? L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. I’m talking ‘bout L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. I'm talking ‘bout love.”
“I'm talking ‘bout love, I'm talking ‘bout love,” Taylor sang.
“Love is an energy, love is a mystery,” Jaxon and Lana sang. “Love is meant to be true. Love is a part of me, love is the heart of me. Love is the best thing we do.”
“L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O,” New Directions sang. “Oh did you hear me say? L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. Did you hear me say? L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. I’m talking ‘bout L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. I'm talking ‘bout love. L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. Oh did you hear me say? L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. Did you hear me say? L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. I’m talking ‘bout L-O L-O L-O-V-E L-O L-O L-O. I'm talking ‘bout love.”
As the song came to an end, the netting attached to the ceiling released, spilling hundreds of white, red, and pink balloons onto the crowd. The confetti cannons on the stage fired, shooting Valentine’s Day confetti into the crowd.
As the crowd reacted to the confetti, Jaxon and James shared a glance. Jaxon smiled at James, who smiled back.
THE END
