Victory is the first episode of Glee's fifth season and the eighty-nine episode overall. It will premiere on September 26, 2013, with a short preview on August 9, 2013. It was originally schueled to premiere on September 19, 2013, but after Cory Monteith's death it was delayed a week.
Some weeks later after New Directions won Regionals, they feel more powerful than ever, they realize that they need to focus on Nationals and Graduation, specially the seniors, but finds that someone is missing and they received bad news. Tina finds herself and Mike calls her to try to be a couple again. Marley thinks Jake is cheating on her, and Unique wants to help her. Ryder, meanwhile, finds a new passion and does not plan to return to the glee club. Meanwhile, in New York, Rachel is nervous about if she's been selected to be the new "Barbra" in the remake of Fanny Brice. Kurt receives a call from Blaine, who tells him that he's sent an application for NYADA, and this brings problems with Adam.

Plot[]
One week after winning Regionals, Will tells the club that they did it very well and congratulates them. Tina says it was too obvious they were gonna win, but Will tells that they won because they worked hard to do it. Then, Blaine says that they need to prepare for Nationals, since it's well known that Vocal Adrenaline is going to be in the competition, along to another school, which they don't know yet. Sam interrupts him to say that the seniors also need to worry about Graduation, and Tina says that Prom Dance is also very important, and she's planning to do something very special for that. Will then, gives the club the new assingment: to enjoy themselves for this week, because in the next one, they will start to prepare for Nationals.
Immediately after this, Marley tells Unique to stay in the choir room, and asks her if she saw something strange on Jake. Unique says that she did, and Marley tells her that she thinks he's cheating on her, and wants to find with who. Unique accepts to help her.
Tina tells the girls that they need to go to the auditorium, and tells Marley and the other girls that she wants to do a Britney number, but Kitty replies that they actually sung Britney songs twice and instead of Britney, they could sing a Christina Aguilera song, but Tina says: 'I don't care', but Marley says 'It's Aguilera time!' and they start to sing I've Just Begun (Having My Fun)/Ain't No Other Man. When they finish, they hug, and say that it was fun to do.
When they finish the number, Tina is left alone where she receives a call from Mike, who's been calling her since last week. Tina picks up the call, and Mike tells her that she was awesome at Regionals, and he wants to see her. Tina says that she thanks him but that it's not right to meet yet. Mike tries to convince her, and she finally accepts. Mike tells her he'll give her a present.
Rachel is at NYADA where Cassandra tells her that she's nothing really important, and she won't get the role of Fanny Brice, but Rachel tells her that she needs to wait and see. Cassadra replies with a simple: 'Ok'.
Meanwhile, Marley walks with Unique and finds Jake who's talking to another girl, and Marley interrumps them and say: "What are you doing? Who is she?", but the girl looked at her and simply walks away. Jake responds: 'What is wrong with you, Marley? And thanks, by the way'. Jake, angry, leaves Unique and Marley behind and goes after the girl. Marley then starts Before He Cheats. When both finished, Unique comforts her and tells her that everything will be alright.
