Story - A New Direction : New York Edit

A New Direction: New York will be a story about Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) navigating their lives on New York as they study on New York Academy of Dramatic Arts to reach their Broadway dreams one step at a time. Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) is still a supportive boyfriend for Rachel as he also faces new challenges in The Actors Studio while Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera) ditched University of Louisville and made her way to New York with Brittany Pierce (Heather Morris), who left McKinley and Mercedes Jones (Amber Riley) to seek music producers that will help them to be stars but the trio ,ends up as waitresses.

In NYADA, Rachel and Kurt meets new rivals like Katrina Curtis (Kate Hudson) , who is also the daughter of Broadway legend Miranda Curtis (Bernadette Peters) and old flame and rival, Jesse St. James (Jonathan Groff). The four and their other classmates competes for the spotlight in this year's NYADA musical production. Meanwhile,international actress Loren Bliss (Sarah Jessica Parker) mentors Kurt,being his favorite student in her Acting class. Elsewhere, Santana,Brittany and Mercedes meets a young producer who promises to make them stars but has bad intentions.

• I need some Brittana drama. I have some things in mind , but what kind of storylines should we explore for them?
• For Mercedes, should I bring Sam back at some point of the story? What storyline will accompany Sam's decision to go to New York?

Rachel and Kurt enters NYADA, meeting new rivals and friends that will help them in achieving their Broadway dreams.Meanwhile, Finn faces new challenges and problems; one of them is knowing that Jesse goes to the same school as Rachel. Elsewhere, Santana,Brittany and Mercedes lands on New York as street performers while chasing big-time producers along the way.
