So... yea, I'm really slow at updating, but at least it's here now I guess. I kinda get distracted really easily, so sorry for the, like, month delay.

Episode 4: Like Domino'sEdit

“Why do you have dreadlocks? They make you look like a girl.”

Spider spun around in his seat and looked up at Natasha who was sitting comfortably in the seat behind him, resting against Niko. He gave her a questioning look and she smiled at him with a curious tilt of the head.

Niko soon cracked up laughing from beside her, and both Aaron and Aria were doing the same from next to him.

“They do not make me look like a girl.” He replied, glaring slightly at her as she simply shrugged.

“I only speak the truth.” She commented as Ms Springs walked into the auditorium right on time.

“Hey everyone! It’s Monday, and also time for the performances. Is everyone ready for it?” She questioned, putting down her excessive sheets of music on the steps leading up to the stage as she quickly took a seat.

She was met with a chorus of ‘yes’ and one grumpily mumbled ‘whatever’, coming from Spider, who had his arms crossed and brow furrowed. Did they really make him look like a girl? Chicks usually dig the dreads.

“That’s great! Would anyone like to g…”

“Us!” Natasha interjected rather loudly, jumping up from her seat with her left arm in the air waving about.

Ms Springs chuckled at the girl’s enthusiasm and nodded. “Natasha and her group are up first, and then we’ll have Justice’s group.”

Jumping over the seat in front of her, in which Spider had literally just gotten off, she ran around the tall boy, barely missing sending him tumbling over and jumped up and onto the stage. As the others got into their positions on the stage, Natasha instructed the band to get ready. Natasha and Melinda both had black dresses on, reaching just above their knees, matched with low black heels.

Aaron and Spider were both dressed in dark clothing, Spider sporting a black singlet, and black jeans matched with grey shoes. Aaron was also wearing similar attire, but what really caught the audience’s attentions was their black make up. And while both the girls had the same, it made Spider look extremely intense.

One of the band members handed over an electric to Spider, who thanked him and slung the strap over his shoulders and got used to the instrument before nodding for the music to begin.

Spider began strumming at the guitar as the drummer slammed the drumsticks against the set.

Natasha:
Caught here in a fiery blaze, won't lose my will to stay.
I tri-ie-ied to drive all through the night,
The heat stroke ridden weather, the barren empty sights.
No oasis here to see, the sand is singing deathless words to me.

The rest of the glee club looked on in surprise at Natasha’s voice, who was in the centre of the stage as Spider strummed at the guitar from beside her, and quickly took over the singing.

Spider: Can't you help me as I'm startin' to burn (Aaron: all alone).
Too many doses and I'm starting to get an attraction.
My confidence is leaving me on my own (Aaron: all alone).
No one can save me and you know I don't want the attention.

He turned to Natasha and walked closer to her, but she stepped back as he moved closer. He turned back to the audience as Natasha ran around him and to the other side.

Natasha and Spider: As I-I-I adjust to my new sights the rarely tired lights will take me to new heights.
My hand is on the trigger I'm ready to ignite.
Tomorrow might not make it but everything's all right.
Mental fiction follows me; show me what it's like to be set free.

Natasha was dancing around with Aaron, and Niko was watching from his seat, clearly impressed. Melinda quickly took over the vocals as she danced around, Natasha going beside her as they followed the moves they’d practiced. Melinda was feeling nervous to say the least, but was just trying to imagine no one was there.

Niko was watching with wide eyes at the both girls, undeniably turned on by the way they were moving.

Melinda: Can't you help me as I'm startin' to burn (Natasha: all alone).
Too many doses and I'm starting to get an attraction.
My confidence is leaving me on my own (Natasha: all alone).
No one can save me and you know I don't want the attention.

Aaron moved forward, separating the girls as he walked in front of them.

Aaron: I'm sorry you're not here I've been sane too long my vision's so unclear.
Now take a trip with me but don't be surprised when things aren't what they seem.

Caught here in a fiery blaze, won't lose my will to stay.
These eyes won't see the same, after I flip today.

Spider took his guitar solo as he strummed at the guitar, he fingers sliding up and down the frets as he moved around with Natasha, and Niko couldn’t help but feel slightly jealous at their close proximity.

Aaron and Melinda: Sometimes I don't know why we'd rather live than die,
We look up towards the sky for answers to our lives.
We may get some solutions but most just pass us by,
Don't want your absolution cause I can't make it right.
I'll make a beast out of myself, gets rid of all the pain of being a man.

The rest of the glee club and Ms Springs burst into applause as the four breathlessly bowed and gave each other quick hugs, Niko glaring slightly at Spider when Natasha wrapped her arms around him for a hug. They all then took their seats, Niko instantly wrapping his arm around Natasha’s shoulders when she sat down next to him, and he gave her a quick peck on the cheek.

“You did great.” He said, telling himself he shouldn’t be getting jealous. She was his girlfriend, and she liked him and not Spider. ‘Cause seriously, she did say he looked like a girl before.

“That was outstanding you guys. Next up, Niko, Justice, Alexis and Aria. You’ll have to pull everything you’ve got after that.” Ms Springs commented, and the four got up and made their way up to the stage.

“How the fuck are we supposed to live up to that? It had 1, great singing, 2 perfectly choreographed moves and 3 it was hot.” Niko told the three girls once they were up and getting ready to start.

“Don’t speak like that, we can totally beat them. Wanna know why? ‘Cause you have me.” Justice replied, patting him on the shoulder.

Niko simply scoffed as he took his position. They were all wearing bright and colourful clothing, Niko decked out in bright yellow jeans, colourful sneakers, and a checkered blue, pink, white and black shirt over a purple top and a bright green belt. Saying he felt awkward and embarrassed would be an understatement.

The girls were wearing colourful skirts and white shirts with heels.

Justice nodded for the band to begin, and the music quickly drifted through the air.

Justice: I'm feeling sexy and free
Like glitter's raining on me

I think I'm 'bout to explode

Spider watched, gulping slighting as the girl moved around in the very short skirt and bent down before standing back up and she caught his gaze and winked at him.

I can taste the tension like a cloud of smoke in the air

Niko moved forward at his cue and danced around, taking Justice’s hand as he spun her around.

Niko:

Alexis started singing, grabbing her hair and puffing it out as she popped her shoulders forward.

Aria took over, showing off her dancing as she spun around, flicked her wrists and showed some moves.

Aria: Every second is a highlight

Justice joined in, standing beside the girl and following her movements.

Aria and Justice: You got me losing my mind
My heart beats out of time
I'm seeing Hollywood stars

Niko grabbed Alexis’ hand and stepped back, pulling her closer as they sung together before pulling away and continuing on as they moved around together.

Alexis and Niko: I can taste the tension like a cloud of smoke in the air

Aria took her cue and ran from one side of the stage and did a flip, and everyone cheered from the seats, impressed at the flip, especially since she was in heels.

Niko jumped forward, doing some footwork as he grabbed Justice and Aria’s hand, one on each side, and pulled them into him before spinning them out.

Everyone cheered as the performance ended and the four caught their breaths and headed off stage and back to their respective seats.

“Wow!” Ms Springs commented. “That was a spectacular performance. Everything about it had us all cheering. I’m very impressed with both of the groups, and didn’t expect such good work for our first assignment. You all pulled through and proved that you can do this.” She said with a happy grin on her face.

“Now I think it’s time for us to work on a recruitment song, and other ways to get new members. Invite your friends, let people know, and show them how much fun it is to be a part of the glee club.”

Aria was wandering around behind the gym Tuesday lunch. She knew Aaron was probably freaking out, trying to find her, but she just needed to be alone. From her fallout with Skylar to her irregular sleeping patterns lately, she just needed some time to think. She’d been so stressed the last week, constantly overthinking things and ignoring Skylar the few times he’d attempted to talk to her.

Sighing she kicked the scuffs of her shoes against the dirt, her hands deep in her jacket pockets as she whistled out a tune. Joining The Alpha Chordz had helped slightly she guessed. Being able to let loose with them all was fun she had to admit, and did keep her distracted long enough for her to relax.

A loud thud broke her out of her thoughts and she halted her whistling, looking around to see where the noise had come from. Walking towards the corner of behind the gym, she rounded it, her eyes soon finding a tall guy standing about ten metres away, punching the wall. She could hear soft sobs coming from him as his fists collided with the wall.

She jogged over to him, curious as to what was wrong with the boy. She soon recognised him as she got closer. He was in her AP maths class, and she remembered accidentally running into him nearly a week back. “Hey, hey, stop.” She told him, hesitantly placing her hand on his shoulder, not wanting to scare him.

He seemed startled, and instantly jumped back, giving her a slight fright. He turned away, wiping his eyes with his sleeves furiously to hide the tears Aria knew he had streaming down his face. “W-what a-are you-you d-doing h-here?” He stuttered out, still turned away from her.

“Are you okay?” She questioned. She knew it was a stupid question, he obviously wasn’t, but it was an instant reaction.

“I-I’m f-fine. C-can y-you p-p-please g-go a-way?” He asked, sounding smaller than his 6 foot two frame.

“I only wanna help. Your names Marty right?” She questioned, pretty sure that was his name, remembering it from when the teacher would call out the names during class.

“Y-yea.” He replied, his head still bowed down as he turned slightly towards her, but he remained looking away. He’d stopped whipping his face and eyes, his jacket sleeves hanging down and covering his hands.

“What’s wrong?” She asked softly, not wanting to scare him.

“N-nothing.”

“I doubt that’s nothing.” She replied, just wanting to help him. She knew he was bullied quite a bit, seeing the guys in class harass him as he tried to work. She’d even come across him being pushed around, and she was surprised he didn’t stand up for himself, as he was taller and most likely stronger than a great deal of his tormentors.

He looked up at her slightly but didn’t make eye contact. “H-how w-would you know-know?” He asked her, avoiding looking her in the eyes as he brought his hands covered in his sleeves together.

“Because a minute ago you were crying as you punched the wall.” She replied in a soft voice, looking at him.

He ran a hand through his hair, revealing his bloodied knuckles and cut ridden hand as he moved to rub his hand down his face.

“Wow, and you bet up your hands pretty bad too.” She said, looking at his hand before delicately taking it in her own. He seemed surprised as she held his hand, slowly trying to inch it away, but she made sure he didn’t. “You need to put some ice on this and clean it up.” She said, holding his large hand in her own, and she looked up and into his blue eyes.

“Charity!” Megan nearly screamed as she ran after her best friend who was getting her lunch from the cafeteria, and she jumped in front of a guy who was standing behind her in the lunch line.

“Megan?” Charity spoke, turning around with furrowed brows before smiling at her friend who looked like she was about to explode. “What’s up with you?” She asked curiously.

“What’s up with me? I should be asking you exactly that! What happened with Landon? How was the date?” She asked, needing to know what was going on between the two. She’d been shocked to say the least when she’d been told that Landon had kissed Charity before asking her out for dinner.

The girl’s eyes lit up like a Christmas tree as she remembered the date. To say it was perfect would be an understatement. Landon had treated her to not only some delicious dinner at a fancy restaurant, which he’d insisted on paying completely for before they headed out to see a movie. He was so sweet and chivalrous, some traits you didn’t tend to see very often in the jock.

“I don’t even know how to describe it Megan. It was simply fantastic. He took me to this beautiful restaurant with the most delicious food I’ve ever tasted, and we talked the entire time. It was so perfect and there was this great band playing off to the side. Then we went to the movies. We were cuddling the entire time! And then when he was dropping me off he gave me a hug and kissed me before saying I was beautiful. Beautiful! Landon called me beautiful! I can’t believe this is happening! I never thought he’d ever like me, ‘cause he’s just so handsome, popular, sweet and did I say handsome? Everything was…” She rambled on, soon being interrupted by an annoyed student who was being blocked from getting his food.

“Bitch could you shut up and move already! I’m hungry and you’re in my way.” He groaned from behind Megan.

Charity pouted and looked down. Megan’s face screwed up angrily before turning around to face the skinny pimple faced idiot who’d hurt her friends feelings. “Did you just call her a bitch and tell her to shut up?” She questioned, glaring daggers at him. No one said anything like that to Charity and got away with it. “’Cause I’m hoping for your safety I heard wrong.”

He scoffed and spoke, “of course I di…” He paused when he realised whose voice that was and looked down at her with a terrified look on his face.

“Oh, so you just told my best friend to shut up and called her a bitch?” She growled back, taking a threatening step towards the taller boy who now looked like a deer caught in the headlights. He took a step back, bumping into someone behind him, which sent a chain reaction off as everyone wobbled, stumbled back and feel on top of each other.

Megan smirked as the boy turned around and looked at the angry faces staring up at him as some of the other students in the cafeteria laughed at the scene. She turned around with an accomplished grin on her face as she looked at Charity who was looking at the mess of students on the floor with a surprised face.

“Don’t worry ‘bout them. No one talks to you like that and gets away with it. Now let’s get our food.” She smiled, waving to Pancho, as she got her food, who was sitting on a table and laughing with his friends at the others on the floor. He gave her a thumbs up and approving nod before turning back to his friends.

Justice squealed loudly as she fell to the floor and on top of someone as the person in front of her landed on her. Her eyes widened as she saw her tray of food come hurdling towards her, but before she had time to move, it’d already landed faced down on her stomach, smearing her shirt and arms in pumpkin soup and potatoes.

She groaned loudly and flung the tray off of her, glaring angrily at the mess that was now her shirt. She tried to get up, but the person in front of her was still on top of her legs. “Could you move?” She snapped angrily as the person scrambled to stand up. They looked at her sympathetically before moving away.

She stood up, but half way there she slipped on a wet patch on the floor and fell right back, but before she could hit the ground, she felt someone grab a hold of her. “Whoa there.” A voice said, pushing her up before standing up themselves.

“Thank you.” She said gratefully, looking up to see Spider standing in front of her with a goofy look on his face.

“It seems you took quite a dive.” He said, pointing to her shirt and she huffed.

“Some moron decided it would be fun to knock us all down like dominos.” She said. “And this is what happened to my lunch.” She growled, unsticking her shirt from her stomach.

“C’mere.” He laughed, grabbing her arm gently and pulling her along. “Let’s go get you cleaned up.”

Justice followed Spider out of the cafeteria and to the nearest bathrooms, but pulled him back as he went to enter the girl’s bathroom. “Hey, you can’t go in there.” She said with a slight gasp.

“Don’t worry; I’ve been using the girl’s bathroom since I got here. I took one step into the guy’s ones when I first got here and believe me when I say they stink. It seriously made me wanna puke.” He said, pulling her with him and into the bathroom.

She walked next to him and to the sink where he turned the tap on. “Do you have any spare clothes?” He asked, looking at her shirt, and her arms which were covered in what was supposed to be her lunch.

She sighed, looking grumpily at herself. “No I didn’t.”

“Well…” Spider said, looking at his own shirt. It was a flannel one he didn’t really wear all too often and underneath he had on another shirt. “Here.” He said, unbuttoning it and taking it off before resting it on one of the basins. “You can wear mine after we get you cleaned up. It may be a bit big, but I think you’ll survive in it for the rest of the day.”

He gave her a smile as he motioned for her to come closer. “Thanks, that’s kind of you to do. I’ll make sure to give it back tomorrow.” She said, inching closer.

“It’s no problem; you can keep it if you want. I very rarely wear it.” He replied, taking her hand and putting it in the water as he washed her arm. “I just wanted to say your performance yesterday was um… really good. You have an amazing voice.” He commented, running his hand up and down her arm as he scrubbed the lunch away as gently as possible, making her blush slightly.

“Thank you very much Spider. I think your group did a fantastic job too.” She replied as he let go of her arm, briefly looking up to smile at her before taking her other arm and cleaning it.

“Thanks. I wasn’t sure if we’d pull it off, but in the end I’m happy we did.” He replied before adding, “And Natasha can be really bossy.”

Skylar was wandering around the halls, kicking his feet on the floor as he idly thought about Aria. He still wishes he hadn’t been such a prick and hurt her. He hated it whenever he saw her upset, especially when she cried. It broke his heart. He really could be a creep couldn’t he? He shouldn’t have overreacted… he always overreacted… he really wishes he hasn’t said those horrible things.

He’d been too caught up in thoughts to go to class at the moment. He sighed once again, ruffling his hair. Fuck this… he was a badass, he shouldn’t be mopping around over some girl. But this wasn’t just some girl. He loved her. It was hard for him to admit to himself but he really did. He’s not quite sure if he’s in love with her yet, but he knows he’s slowly falling under her spell. He’d really fucked things up this time.

He stopped at a door, glancing into a classroom, his eyes searching over the students before stopping when he spotted Aria. She was sitting, writing down notes as she listened to the teacher speak. She was so beautiful.

He started singing to himself as he stared at her, a small smiling gracing his lips.

Skylar: Whats up?
I know we haven't spoken for a while
But I was thinkin bout you
And it kinda made me smile

And I'll put em in a letter

He tapped his hands against the door frame, looking down as he turned back around and headed off, not noticing Aria turn and catch a glimpse of him leaving.

He nodded his head as he sung, the scene changing as he watched Aria talk with Aaron, the other boy giving her a hug as she rested her head against his chest.

Excuse me, I really didn't mean to ramble on
But there's a lot of feelings that remain since you've been gone
I guess you thought that I would put it all behind me
But it seems there's always somethin right there to remind me
Like a silly joke, or somethin on the t.v.

The scene changed once again, Skylar now standing in front of the glee club as he sings, staring at Aria, and trying to convey that he was singing this to her. He wanted… no, needed her back. He didn’t care if it meant joining some lame arse show choir, he’d do anything and everything for her, even if she didn’t realise it.

He moved towards her, going up the steps so he was standing in front of her, holding her hands as she looked away. He pressed a quick kiss to her cheek before going back down and continuing on.

He looked around the group of students, his voice soothing before looking back to Aria. He could see Aaron sitting next to her, glaring at him, but he didn’t care.

The band’s music soon petered out as he stopped singing, looking away from Aria and to Ms Springs, raising an eyebrow at her as everyone clapped except for Aaron and Aria, the latter looking down as she wrung her hands together. “So, what’d you think? I make it?” He questioned the teacher, his voice cocky as he grinned, knowing he’d done well.

“That was very good Skylar, welcome to the club!” She cheered a happy smile on her face.

Skylar nodded. “Cool.” He said, his eyes finding their way back to Aria. No matter what… I’ll get you back. I’m not gonna lose you this time. I love you too much.

“Hey man, what’s up?” Spider questioned, resting against the wall outside of the choir room next to Aaron. He’d seemed down for a good majority of the meeting, and Spider had been worried about him. “You’ve seemed down.” He added, dropping his bag to the floor before smiling at Justice and giving her a slight wave as she walked away.

He turned back to Aaron who had his head resting back against the wall. “It’s Skylar.” He sighed. “He’s no good for Aria, but he’s so persistent. I know he cares for her, but he does more harm than good. He’s all great to her one second, then their fighting the next. I hate seeing her so down and the reason always seems to link back to him. I just don’t know what to do, ‘cause I know she’ll just go running back to him.”

Spider ran a hand over his dreads, thinking of what to say. “Maybe…” He began, thinking of his words. “Maybe you could talk to Skylar. Talk to him and try to understand his angle.”

Aaron looked over at Spider, pushing his glasses back up the bridge of his nose. “I guess you’re right… it’s just, the guy really grates on my nerves. I try to be civil with him, but it’s clear he hates me too. I’m just looking out for Aria, she’s my best friend and I don’t like seeing her get hurt.” He replied.

“Hey Justice! Wait up!” Spider called out, jogging over to the blonde haired girl and falling into step with her as she turned to give him a smile. After a meaningful talk with Aaron, the two had parted ways, the other boy going to have a talk with Skylar.

“So… how you doin’?” He asked, a wide grin spread across his face.

“I’m good.” She replied with a slight blush as they exited through the schools main entrance.

“That’s great…” He began, wringing his hands together slightly, wondering how he should say this. He’d been wanting to ask her something for a little while now, but he wasn’t sure what her reaction would be, making him nervous. “I’ve actually been meaning to ask you something.” He finally blurted out, looking up and at her as she stopped, titling her head slightly.

“And what would that be?” She asked curiously as she pulled the strap of her bag further over her shoulder.

“It would be if maybe… you’d like to go out some time… with me?” Spider asked, looking down once again. He rarely got nervous around others, but he liked her quite a bit, and would be crushed if she said no.

Justice was standing there as still as stone, her eyes slightly wide, her lips parted and an overall shocked expression on her face. Now… that’s something she hadn’t exactly expected. She’d never have pegged him to ask her out. She thought he was handsome… well, hot really, and he was a nice guy, so of course she’d say yes, but she was still surprised.

“I’d love to!” She replied, smiling wide as she tried to control her emotions right now. She wanted to jump up and down really. She’d never been asked out by a guy, let alone gone out with one only the two of them, so she was ecstatic someone had… especially Spider.

“That’s great.” He replied. “I was thinking we could maybe have a picnic… that’s only if you’re okay with that though.” He offered, ideas for how it could go already racing through his head as he thought of things to do and get her.

“That’d be perfect.” She replied, biting her lip slightly.

Sitting at the top of the bleachers on the football field were Landon and Charity. Charity was resting her head on her boyfriend’s shoulder with a content smile. They were sitting comfortably as Landon asked how her day had been. They hadn’t seen much of each other that day, being in separate years meaning they didn’t have any classes together and Landon having to meet up with his football coach during lunch.

“Man, I would’ve killed to have seen that.” Landon groaned, disappointed he’d missed out on seeing everyone go down like dominos because of Megan. It would’ve been hilarious.

“Yea, it was pretty funny.” She laughed, giving him a peck on the cheek. Landon sighed contently. He’d had a thing for Charity ever since the year began to be honest. And if he liked a girl, of course he was going to go after her. He’d had so many girlfriends in his years, and it got tiring after a while. Flings, never lasting too long, he wanted to have a girl he could be with, even if it wasn’t for too long, it’d still be nice.

He had a feeling him and Charity would last a while. How long he didn’t know, but that was beside the point.

He heard his phone buzz with a new message, resulting in him searching through his bag for the device. He took it out and flipped it open, reading the text from his sister, asking where he was and that they needed to get home.

Can u walk by urself? I wanna hang with my girl. He texted back, a reply coming less than a minute later.

K, Spider can walk me. It read and his brows furrowed. Who the hell was Spider? Wait… was that the dreads dude? There was no way in hell he was taking his sister home.

He opted to call her this time. “I’m just gonna call my sister.” He told Charity who replied with a simple ‘okay’ as he pressed the phone to his ear.

“Hey Justice, you there?” He asked, pulling his other arm back around Charity.

“Yea, what is it?”

“I don’t want that dreads dude near you. He’s trouble.” He spoke, his brows knitting together in a frown. Hell if she thought that freak could take her home. He didn’t like him, meaning there was no way he was going anywhere with his sister.

“Landon, stop being an idiot, he’s walking with me so shut it.” She replied, and he could hear the annoyance in her voice.

“I said no Justice that guys no good, I’ll just take you.” He spoke.

“Stop being overprotective. Stay with your girlfriend while I go with him. He’s a nice guy, so stop being uptight just because he intimidates you.” She said, cutting the call off before he could respond.

Muttering angrily under his breath he clicked his phone shut and stuffed it back in his bag. He was not being overprotective; he just didn’t want some weirdo being around his sister. He didn’t trust the guy, and he did not intimidate him. He could knock him out with one punch. Spider (what a retarded name), was just a pussy arsed wimp.

“What’s wrong sweetie?” He heard Charity ask as she lifted her head from his shoulder.

“Just that my sister wants some dreadlocked loser taking her home. He could be a fucking axe murder for all we know!” He yelled out in frustration, flinging his arms in the air.

He heard her giggle as she turned his face to look at her. “I doubt he is.” She said, giving him a kiss on the lips and resting their foreheads together.

“And what if he is?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.

“And what if you’re being overprotective?” She asked with a slight ‘hmmm’ to add effect as she smiled and tilted her head slightly.

He simply shook his head. I’m not overprotective… am I?

“Skylar! Wait up!” Aaron yelled, running after the taller boy. He’d decided to take Spider’s advice and talk to him. As much as he hated him, he knew this was something that needed to be done, whether he liked it or not.

Skylar spun around, scoffing when he saw Aaron. “What do you want?” He asked, turning away from his as he continued on walking.

“I wanna talk to you ‘bout Aria.” He stated, now following slightly behind him.

Skylar simply rolled his eyes, “And why exactly is that?” He questioned, not bothering to look at him. He didn’t like him, meaning he didn’t want to talk. The guy was lucky he had actually responded to him this time. The two rarely ever talked unless they were arguing over what was best for Aria.

“’Cause she’s hurting, and you’re the reason why.”

Skylar spun around, nearly banging into Aaron who took a step back. “I’m not the reason she’s hurting.”

Aaron laughed. “Oh really?” He asked, scoffing through his laughter. “Is that what you tell yourself to get to sleep at night?”

“Oh shut the fuck up.” He bit back, growling slightly under his breath.

“Well I’m not going to. I’m sick and tired of seeing her get hurt because you decide to be an arse.” He replied, poking at his chest, clearly irritated. “You say you love her, and then you find some reason to fight. You act like she’s the one at fault, then expect to have her run right back to you. She’s not a possession you can throw away whenever you want. You break her and I have to stitch the pieces back on.”

Skylar pushed him back, sending him to the floor. “Now you listen here. I love her more than anything, so stop it and mind your own business!” He yelled, stomping off angrily and throwing the doors open to exit the building before spinning around and pointing at him. “And don’t put any ideas into her head, I don’t care if you don’t like me, but I really do love her. It’s not my fault you can’t see that.”

After that he left, leaving Aaron on the floor.

“Hey Aaron, are you okay?” He heard a voice ask, and he looked up and behind him to see Ms Springs and Melinda walking towards him, the latter bending down and helping him up.

“Err, yea I’m fine.” He replied, giving them both a smile before thanking Melinda for the help and leaving.

There was no way he was letting him hurt Aria again, and he’d do anything to stop them from getting back together.
