Once Upon A Dream[]
This is the second episode of Glee´s Seventh season. It is a Disney tribute and the first tribute episode of the season.
Plot[]
The episode starts with Will announcing the winner... The Troubletones win, so New Directions are asigned a different choir room. The screen goes black and you can read: a week later...
Tina makes an special visit in NY because all her best friends live there now, Blaine, Artie, Rachel and Kitty. Meanwhile Kurt is in a cultural trip with his senior pals. What seems to be an inocent visit results in a heartfelt confession, she isn´t happy in Brown because her life dream has been being a performer but in Broadway.But her family apparently doesn´t like the idea of her going to NY without any plan or College where she can attend. Seeing this all her friends encourage her to follow her heart. First of all, Rachel brings her to NYADA and she is absolutely stunned by the place (Part Of Your World).
In Lima Sam decides to make Disney Movies the theme of the week in order to cheer them up after losing against The Troubletones. Alistair, who has always been the shy guy is starting to worry his friends, he hasn´t been in Glee club rehersals in the last week. His boyfriend, Spencer gets to talk to him and Alistair confesses how nervous and anxious is with being the only senior of the team and that he is afraid of making big conections with the group being that his last year there and that adding that to not knowing what to do with his life next year he is going through a tough time, what leads Spencer to tell him that the future can´t make him lose the sight of the present and that he should enjoy his last year and the friends he has in Glee club will always help him to get back on his feet and find what he really needs. Alistair and Spencer kiss and Alistair goes to the rehersal and sings Go To The Distance from Hercules which finishes with a group hug.
Tina isn´t still sure what she exactly wants, she loves NYADA but hasn´t the chance to audition and she isn´t sure if leaving Brown for something as uncertain as her future in NY is a good idea, so maybe her family may be right. Blaine and her go to Callbacks that night and Blaine takes Tina to the stage to sing a duet with him, You´ll Be In My Heart. They kill their duet and there is a standing ovation, with one of the most excited people there being the one and only Carmen Thibideaux. Next day at NYADA Carmen calls Rachel to her office, she expects the worst, but no, she has good news for someone Rachel knows, Tina Cohen Chang. Carmen tells Rachel that every year she goes to Callbacks everynight for the first month of the schoolyear and chooses the best that sees there to have an special audition to ge into NYADA, which is next day. Rachel runs to tell this to her friend who can´t even believe what is happening.
Jane and Mason are singing a duet (A Whole New World) in the Glee club rehersals while we can see how Skylar looks at Madison and Madison at Max. After the rehersals Jane and Myron aproach Madison telling her how evident her crush on Max is and singing I Won´t Say I´m In Love. Meanwhile, Spencer, Mason, Alistair and Max talk to Skylar about his crush on Madison, Skylar and Max tell the others how they know that Madison has a crush on Max while Max only sees her as a friend, but the boys encourage Skylar to try to get a date with Madison that can make change his mind (Kiss The Girl).
It is finally Tina´s audition day and all her friends go to NYADA with her, she is really nervous but tells her friends that has the perfect song for what she is feeling at the moment, Reflection from Mulan. She sings an emotional rendition of the song for Carmen Thibideaux and she seems to enjoy it but she tells Tina that she will have to wait a week for the results. Rachel and Kitty tell Tina that she can stay in the loft until she gets the results, and that then she can decide if she wants to go back to Brown or stay in NY. She agrees and they hug.
Skylar and Madison go on a date, Skylar tells him that he feels that Madison has a crush on Max and that he understands that she may not want to have another date but that he just wanted a chance, Madison tells him that she knows that doesn´t stand a chance with Max and that she is really enjoying the night so they can make it more than a one time thing. Next time the New Directions perform I Can´t Wait To Be King in the auditorium, and we can see a jealous Max because of Madison and Skylar´s chemistry (the real reason of his jealousy being his crush on Skylar). The NY gang performs the same song in the streets of NY.
