Starting From Zero[]
This is the first episode of the seventh season of Glee, it starts at the beggining of the 2015/2016 and is located in both, Lima and New York
Plot[]
New Directions are living in a world of happiness and no bullying in the beggining of the new school year. Kitty and Roderick are already McKinley High Alumni the rest of them is still in Sam´s Glee Club, Jane and Mason and Spencer and Alistair are happily dating, and the best friends Skylar and Max are facing a big problem, while Madison likes Max, Skylar has a huge crush on Madison (Video Killed The Radio Star). The problem is that Max is absolutely oblivious at Madison´s crush on him, while Skylar can absolutely feel it and he isn´t brave enough to talk about his feelings to Madison. This weird love triangle will bring an unexpected revelation, Max is bisexual.
But this popularity and peace for New Directions won´t last long because the now principal Will Schuester prepares a showdown for each Glee Club to show what they´ve got, and the winner will get the honour of being able to reherse in the now sacred old choir room. Rose (Ella Henderson) who is the new lead of the Troubletones finds in Jane her nemesis, but Jane doesn´t see the storm coming before it is too late, when she is ready to put the whole school against her. (What Is This Feeling?)
Meanwhile in New York Kurt and Blaine are happily living in their new apartment, and Kitty and Rachel are living in the Bunshwick apartment now. Kitty is studying Journalism in NYU and Rachel is starting her sophomore year at NYADA after a whole semester of extracurriculars for Carmen Thibideaux. Blaine and Kitty´s new friendship (they are going to the same College) makes Artie wonder if hanging out with them can bring Kitty and him close again (Shut Up and Dance)
Rachel is feeling like a fish out of the water with her new class and the presence of a past aquaintaince doesn´t make it better, Harmony is now the HBIC of Rachel´s class and she doesn´t like the fact of having a former Broadway Star so near. (What Is This Feeling?)
The other part of the NY gang, Kurt, Santana and Brittany are in an easier situation, Brittany and Santana are both studying and working in the Spotlight Diner (Domino) and Kurt is in his senior year on NYADA ready to work harder than ever to get what he wants, becoming a star.
The episode ends with the showdown (Stay The Night, Love Runs Out and We Are Golden) and Kitty telling Artie that she has finally moved on and that she really likes him as a friend but nothing more. Then when Will is giving the results the screen goes black.
