We Are Young by fun. feat. Janelle Monáe is featured in Hold on to Sixteen, the eighth episode of Season Three. It is sung by New Directions with solos by Finn, Mercedes, Quinn, Rachel, Sam, and Santana.

After Sectionals, the New Directions sing it as a victory number at their school. Former members of The Troubletones Brittany, Mercedes, and Santana are re-inducted back into New Directions along with Sugar, who has now become a member of the New Directions, after Quinn convinces them to return. It is said that Rachel and Will have agreed that the Troubletones can do one performance at competitions. Will walks in near the end of the song, surprised and happy with what he sees. At the end of the song; everyone has a group hug.

Mistakes

Brittany and Santana are seen holding hands, but the next shot they are not.
Brittany goes from standing with Rory, to hugging Mike, then back to standing with Rory. This action repeats itself twice.
Kurt is seen walking towards Mercedes, Brittany, Santana, and Sugar as if to greet them with Artie, Rory, and Quinn, but when the scene cuts to them walking away, Kurt is not seen with them.
When Brittany and Rory are hugging, Rory spins her around. In the next shot, they are seen with each other's hands over each other's shoulders, and holding hands with their spare hands.
